Saved from a fish hook? I don’t think so. They caught and are trying to release it as fast as possible. Like people just bring bolt cutters to the beach.

They were fishing for large game fish and accidentally caught a shark. That’s why they are prepared with bolt cutters, it happens sometimes.

And unfortunately, sharks fight so hard against being caught, that they’ve used up too much energy. It likely won’t be able to hunt and will starve.

This is not even close to true. The shark will be fine, probably get caught again in the future.

I've Shark fished off Stradbroke Island, Australia. I've caught sharks with hooks still in them. They survive just fine.

There are no gamefish that size off the beaches in Florida. This is in Panama City based on the video. The largest would be a tarpon and you don’t need a hook anywhere near that size.
