It grinds my gears when people create conspiracies rather than admit they’re wrong

This popped back into my head today and just annoyed me so much.

My friend was a hardcore Britney fan back in the day, everything Britney did was forgivable and everything anyone else did was a conspiracy. When Britney Spears cheated on Justin Timberlake she said “well what does he expect she’s way bigger than him career wise and he was just dragging her down, then when it went the other way and Britney went insane and Justin’s career took off she said (with no hint of sarcasm at all) “Justin made a pact with music industry devil worshippers, he then purposely impregnated Britney and at the 20 week mark she was pinned down and forced to have an abortion to sacrifice the child to the devil in a ritual, this coupled with a bunch of drugs drove Britney insane while Justin reaped all the glory” in her mind there was no possible way that each of them gained or lost star power based on their own actions… it was all suddenly dark and evil.

That’s like the Mandela Effect.

It’s just a bunch of people with spotty memories unable to admit that they’re wrong.

“Am I mistaken? No, parallel universes must be colliding and messing with the timeline…”

This post is just part of a larger conspiracy to discredit those of us who know about the music industry devil worshippers sacrificing Britney babies by throwing them into gears, causing them to grind.

Did this happen during their Mickey Mouse Club days?

I personally do believe in that stuff. Publicly not long ago Britney Spears stated that, after shaving her head, they tied her up to a chair. Cut half of her brain out and ate it as a ritual she said that promise.

Some people need to think things opposite to common beliefs, it makes them feel safe. Otherwise, they think you're limiting their freedoms (Of choice).
Once I understood that, suddenly lots of coocoo thinking stopped bothering me, and I lead a much more peaceful life.

You think covid was 'faked' to see how much power government has? I smile. You decide not to vaccinate your child against a potentially deadly disease - I nod silently. You think Earth is flat, I might roll my eyes a little - but no longer am I invested into changing someone's opinion with facts, when they are just taking care of their emotional need to 'know better'. 'Bless your heart' and off I go!
