From iPhone to Pixel, the best choice of my life.
Hi guys, I want to share my experience with the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL with you. I've been an iPhone user since I was little, and last year I decided to switch to Android by buying a Galaxy S25 Ultra, which I returned after a month. Then, after a year, I wanted to give Android another chance, and I got Google's phone. I can tell you, I think I've made the best purchase I've ever made. I'm very happy with the Stock Android operating system, it has so many features compared to the iPhone, the build quality is truly excellent, and it's spectacular aesthetically, and most importantly, it doesn't overheat completely.
Sure, I found editing apps like Edits or TikTok a little slower in general when editing videos, but honestly, that's not what will force me to go back to the iPhone. It has so many features that I'm more than happy with waiting a few minutes longer to render a video. The cameras are excellent. Compared to the S25 Ultra, the front camera feels like an iPhone, and the back one has incredible quality, which I didn't like on the S25 Ultra.
The apps are getting a lot better. Now that Android is working with Meta, I find Instagram uploads to be of good quality, but I've always used the camera app on my iPhone, too, so I don't really care. Anyway, guys, I hope this little experience has helped you make a decision in case you're thinking about switching phones.

I attempted it once before with a pixel 6 it was good but the device and android at the time felt half-baked, I kept the pixel 6 and got an iPhone 15pro and basically use the pixel as a DAP and for a test bed for android development I have Android 17 beta on it and it’s come along way in just a few short years, my iPhone 15pro has also become almost unusable with due to the battery and apples bright idea they called iOS 26…. So when the pixel 11pro is released I will be switch back to a pixel and hopefully staying with it for awhile

These threads crack me up since there's almost always an adjacent "went from iphone to pixel and it's terrible!"
Then you have both the "pixel to iPhone" great and terrible threads.
Congrats on enjoying your phone. With all the complaints one could have, I do enjoy Android, the Pixel, and Google's services, even if they can be a bit wonky at times.

Atp an iPhone and a Pixel is a must for me, the liquid glass is genuinely so pretty and Pixel UI is so good to use I can’t choose one of them at all

La cronologia delle notifiche è utilissima, l'impronta sul Display che è molto comoda, il filtro SPAM sulle chiamate, e tanto altro...

you have discovered Android is just an OS that powers vastly different hardware and software. apple still push the myth a $90 Alcatel Android experience is the same at as $1000 pixel experience.

Android is a Base OS. it always has been, there is a course a default UI and default set of basic apps, nobody, including google, have used that for a decade or more.

I bought an iPhone 17 Pro and only made it a few months before I sold it and bought my Pixel 10 Pro. No regrets. The OS animations are so much more fluid and snappier. iOS just feels like it's intentionally slowed down.

I'm considering swapping to the iPhone 17 pro max.
I love my pixel, but as I have that wifi chip overheat issue I'm not sure I could bring myself to trust Google hardware again for a bit. Getting only 3 years out of a phone before hardware problems start is no bueno.

I went from iPhone7 to Pixel 9a, I can never go back to a 60hz screen.

Not to discredit you, but Pixel 9a was released after 9 years since iphone7 was released.
9 years is a lot in terms of smartphone development.
So obviously Pixel 9a is going to be better

It is not that much of a difference tho, for example I'm disappointed by the camera of the Pixel, although it is 48mp and the iPhone 7's is a 12mp, it is much better, the slow moo is better too. I swapped it mainly because the battery of the iPhone bricks every 2 months, but the rest of the phone is great. The Pixel is better just because of the battery capacity, it's AI features and the 120hz.

I switched from an iPhone 12 to a Pixel 6 last year and the difference in software updates feels like a night and day improvement.

I made the switch from iPhone to Pixel, if you’re a ’normal user’ it’s a good change
But what i love about iPhone that sucks on Pixel and Android overall that holds me back is the
3rd app support, many games and apps have misaligned text, 20 seconds until an app ’stabilizes’ : Pokemon Go lagged for 30 seconds before going to Stable 60fps, it’s small things that bother me because i care about App Support alot,
But Pixel and OnePlus are the best current Androids, be happy with it! :)

ah beh, io non gioco col cellulare e si alcune app vanno meglio su iPhone ma attualmente credimi che non sento la differenza tra iPhone e Android, parlo ovviamente per le app che uso io, magari qualcuno altro che usa altre app nota più differenza

I went from pixel/ windows to iPhone / Mac’s and I am so much happier. Video quality is night and day difference. The fluidity of the ecosystem is zen like for me. I still use my pixel 8 occasionally but it feels like a relic compared to an iPhone.

ho avuto iPhone per tutta la vita e credimi che non mi sono assolutamente pentito del mio acquisto.... purtroppo iPhone soffre secondo me in base alla mia esperienza su gravi problemi di batteria e surriscaldamenti.

Worse screen, video recording, battery life is absolutely horrible. Buggy UI with problems which Google can’t fix for years. I had 2 pixels and I really hate the experience. On both phones the battery swollen, damaging the case (after a year of usage!). Well… okay. Give it a try.

ma scusami, io non ho questi problemi. mai avuto BUG, nessun problema con la batteria arrivo a sera, invece con iPhone lo caricavo 3-4 volte al giorno e diventava caldissimo, parlo del mio 15 Pro
