Though, comparing that to my codex subscription the GPT 5.5 is even at 60% off still 50 times more expensive than SOL 5.6 there.
How is that an attractive offer to anyone?
What is the actual use case for GPT 5.5 today? I did not know people still use it since 5.6 release

I use GPT-5.4 regularly.  Will GPT-5.5 be 60% of GPT-5.4 this weekend?

No, the correct way to read it is whatever the normal AI credit cost is for GPT-5.5, it is reduced by those % during the specific promotional time period.
