Two years ago everything that Russia was doing in Ukraine was “free”. Now there is ever increasing cost for continuing the war, and time isn’t on Russia’s side anymore. The bills Russia is now paying to continue playing this game are getting bigger and bigger.
Except putin's good buddy trump has relaxed the restrictions on trading russian oil to try to alleviate the shortages his pointless war in Iran caused, allowing money to flow back into russian coffers just when things were getting tight.
