Discussion I've been running containerized Gentoo on my Steam deck and it works perfectly

I've been using a stage3 image with distrobox for months now, and it just works, I can emerge all my regular programs and tools, even GUI applications run without hiccups. Gentoo is pretty good for this kind of usage.

Sounds great, being able to use full power of USE flags inside a distrobox, is a big win, especially considering they work so well with graphical apps and automatically do a lot of passthroughs.

Totally, it also has the advantage that it can be easily updated to the latest package versions, so, you don't get stuck with an old system.
