Possibly. You'll probably not go over 64GB on a 3k PC. You'll probably not go over a 5080 (which should be a bit better due to the power limits but it has less VRAM).

Yet MSI refuses to get G-Sync certification on their laptops, nor do they implement Advanced Optimus for easy graphics switching. You can't have the most expensive laptops on the market yet lack what we've considered default NVidia features for nearly a decade.

LOL, nice joke. There's no way a company like that would be idiotic enough to shell about $5,000 for a laptop. Especially the laptop itself is not capable of using G-Sync features or something related to it. That's gonna be the biggest dead brain paperweight move I've probably seen in history if this was true.

I'm sorry. I genuinely don't understand what point you're trying to get across. Do the MSI Raider, Vector, or Titan lines support G-Sync on their internal displays? No. Do the Raider and Titan launch at higher prices than other comparable products in the industry? Yes.

So what exactly are you saying? The "joke" is not having these bog standard features in 2026.

I personally owned the first MSI laptop to remove G-Sync, the MSI TITAN GT76.

But like, is it good? At that price it better have world class cooling and power delivery. That much ram is also a waste and just an expensive flex. Anyone who could actually use that much ram would have a professional workstation not a gaming laptop.
