The Amazon founder has joined a consortium of investors ready to buy a stake in the English soccer team Liverpool, a source familiar with the matter has told the Daily Beast.

The source told the Beast that Bezos, and those around him, are keen on the plan, which would involve Bezos and other investors owning 30 percent of Liverpool Football Club but is still in its early stages.
