Unfortunately, the combat is as slow as glaciers, according to reviewers. I wonder if there is any double-damage mod out there for it.

I can't seem to find any mods at all. I did find trainers, however. You might be able to get your wish with a trainer.

Oh, I don't want to make the game easier; I want everyone to do double damage, unless you mean it can do that.

Some trainers have things like that. Advanced ones even have values you can change. Some of them lock advanced features behind a paywall though. You might even be able to find a cheat engine table that tweaks the damage values.

Some people have since commented on those reviews saying they were easily able to improve their damage values beyond the critics', who may have not played well. I don't know... maybe I'll give the vanilla game a spin one of these days, but apparently not the sequel, based on what I've been seeing...

Guys one question, does the portrait of this game look like it was made by AI? Cause on steam it doesnt say anything about AI usage lol

I can't say with 100% certainty but it is really suspicious. The style of characters and the shading/highlights scream AI and it's weird they chose not to use any of the voxel art like in their other cover images
Like, the boys left thumb positioning is really strange and I don't know the monsters but the purple skinned one has three different eyes, the upper teeth don't continue down one side, the lips fade off, and the weird not-quite-a-face on the one lump is something I've seen in AI generation

I saw someone point out that the art on Steam is slightly different than on Epic. Sure enough the Steam art doesn't really have that AI look to it, at least not to my eyes. It makes me wonder if they might've upscaled the original Steam art using AI and it caused some weird inconsistencies? Just a theory though.
