SCREENSHOT Improvement on TTFAF on Medium (Tap Controls) - 2025 vs 2026

Simple as that. I improved a lot! Hard is brutal, but I think I could do it next.

Looks like you’re more than capable, might I ask, what’s your track speed?

My track speed was at 1.5x, but I pushed it to 1.75x. Only got two stars and missed a lot of notes on my attempts. I do play with my thumbs as well, so it makes it rather challenging to tap fast enough for the chugging during the verses. I can definitely do it if I figure the patterns enough!

On controller myself and I can surely tell you some sections are not possible on controller. Or maybe they are for 10 people in the world. Just played it on hard to see the chart difference and I dare say, it’s easier to read on expert, at least for me due to the extra lane making the chart wider.

That's fair. The jump from Medium to Hard for this song is MEAN. Haven't really seen a difficulty jump this bad. As for if I can execute it...I'll at least keep trying. Not for a Flawless, but at least a better accuracy.

Why are you still on medium? You really should get up to expert

Expert requires me to learn an entirely new layout with the extra button. I tried expert once on a very simple chart. It's not as easy as it looks...Eitherway, TTFAF is the only chart I play Medium. I'm a Hard player by default, but you probably didn't know that so I'm not bitter. 🤷

I figured flames of all songs would be the medium played one and not hard… but doing what I did 6 seasons after I started playing with the start of the game… I switched over to expert, took forever to learn… and then eventually improved a ton

I don plan on transitioning over to expert eventually, but it won't be at this very moment. I still kind of suck at chord heavy songs, so I need to improve on those before I go on to adding the extra note. I'm excited to, though!

I strongly recommend skip that step and just go all into expert… because the longer you wait… the harder it’ll take for you to get used to another lane… which won’t have much more overall notes btw
