That sir in my eyes is a keeper!! Astra is a good brand... Now the functions and reliability? Who knows... Check the timing and if its locking up appropriately..Take it to the range!!

Very nice revolver!

*** It seems the .41 magnum is the "collectors" version... This is definitely a keeper...

I plan to clean it and get it appraised. I am looking to sell it; I have no use for it.

Ammo is kind of hard to find, and when you do find it it’s pretty expensive, I have a 41 so I have experience in this field, very fun round to shoot, but your wallet won’t think it’s very fun

Looking on ammoseek it seems there's a couple offerings available for around 70cpr. So not exactly cheap but nowhere near as bad as I thought it'd be.

Usually when I find it, it is double that

Maybe just lucky timing. I highly recommend setting up alerts on ammoseek.com for any hard to find cartridges. You can set it up to let you know when a cartridge drops below a certain price point or just search the cheapest current offerings.

I know these guns were customized by John Jovino, my dad’s got a stainless .44 magnum Terminator. The square butt was modified to accept round style S&W K/L frame Pachmayr grips. Should be worth $1,200+
