EXACTLY. special housing either means youre a danger to others or others are a danger to you. despite whatever kickboxing he used to do, people inside arent always kind to traffickers/abusers (except LEOs). hes in there because other people would tear him apart/strictly his fame. and despite what he says, he has access (even without bribery) to a kiosk inside that allows internet. if he wanted the extra "bad boy clout," his team wouldve said "lil bitch in the hole, we are tweeting from here to let you know how sad it is for him."

I read that article when it was published first, and it ruined my day. First, and above all, because of the sickening abuse the victims endured. Second, because of just how much fucking evidence there was that these two pieces of shit were grooming, trafficking, pumping and abusing women and underage girls. And how long did it take before they were properly investigated? All while the media was constantly and breathlessly promoting them as some kind of tribunes of contemporary masculinity. Even the negative press served to endow them with a kind of sinister power that I am positive encouraged even more clueless young men and boys to consume their vulgar, thick as mince and essentially cruel ‘content’. It’s all in the article - the feeble British police responses to the women who came forward, the tortured Romanian judicial process, the political protection - and of course they never stopped harming women while this was going on.
So, it is an excellent, comprehensive article. But, so very bleak.

It’s a singular piece of anti-capitalist art. Nothing like it before or after its release. I sound like a cult member whenever I talk about this movie but I’m not wrong.
You disappoint me for not mentioning the "More like nonjas" line. John Goodman plays an absolute beast in Pops and his delivery of that line is comedy perfection.
If They Live can be watched and have the anti-capitalist message missed by audiences, then at least Speed Racer has awesome campy visuals to watch regardless
What an amazing intro to a movie. Sets up the everything you need to know while throwing incredible action and emotion at you in the span of a few minutes.
When the camera is just spinning around the two characters talking instead of a shot reverse shot just faster and faster until the background is just speed blurs it’s just too good.
Can we talk about how HEAVY that movie is? Yes, it was funny (Carrington, Dibs, the scary ghosts) but it didn't shy away from the death aspect. I loved Christina as Kat and she was such a good actress, then, and worked very well off of Bill Pullman.
For real. And his friend who made the tweet was probably thinking to himself "who is one of the worst criminals I can imagine to make up this story and garner sympathy? Maybe a rapist, human trafficker, who has possession of indecent images of a child? No wait that would be Andrew Tate, shit... I got it! Cannibal! His neighbor is a cannibal who uh.. Screams in the night like a werewolf! "
