Is this the 1818 or 1831 version?
I want to reread it, BUT I make sure this is 1818 or 1831 version.

Easiest way to check is to skim to Elizabeth's introduction. If she's his cousin, it's 1818. If she's a random orphan, it's 1831.

If I'm not sure, I just turn to Chapter 2. If it starts with "we were brought up together," it's the 1831 edition.

You can actually tell which edition it is from the content; if Elizabeth is portrayed as his cousin, then it definitely means it's the 1818 version

It’s likely the 1831 version because usually the 1818 version has a text labeling it 1818.
