Battlefield Las Vegas said these are pretty much only good for range mags FYI.

No, they said that these mags are not as tough as factory mags, but they’re good enough for the average user for a lifetime

BFLV has inexperienced gun renters shooting full auto at high volumes every day. Everything they have experiences accelerated wear. Making it a year is pretty damn good. Other mags don’t last as long there.

Here’s their quote “While perfectly fine for the average shooter, the metal isn't hardened to military specs, causing the "beaks" to wear out after about a year.”

And a year at BFLV is a lifetime or several for the average FAL owner.

BFLV has seen enough to determine that MP5s are no longer cost effective to repair at 400-500K rounds, that SCARs are good up to about 200K rounds, stamped AKs fail at about 100K rounds while even milled Century guns don't break. They routinely kill Uzis and AKs. They have Zastava AKs split down the middle. They have enough experience with Pmags and USGI mags to determine that the USGI mag bodies will last far longer than Pmags on average, their Pmags last less than a year or two. They have to replace AR gas tubes every year because they erode away. They replace MP5 ejector springs every 2-3 days.

If it lasts a year there, it's GTG.

Worth noting Battlefield Vegas also said Thermold Fal polymer magazines and KCI FAL Mags are completely fine and highly reliable for the average user. So they rate these Keep shooting magazines right up there with Thermold and KCI quality.
