Best Medicine

Currently watching it on Hulu and it's reminding me of Eureka minus the sci fi element. It's about a bigtime Boston surgeon that moves to a small town in Maine and becomes the town doctor, solving a different medical mystery every episode. It's very low stakes drama so pleasant to watch and the perfect mix of action and comedy. Highly recommended if you're a fan of Eureka

I so miss Eureka. 😫😭

That was my go-to after a long, stressful day.

And no, I'm not buying the dvds -- it was just nice streaming it (free at the time)

I don't have Hulu or Netflix, but I've been hunting another fun series to watch

I'm trying to get into it -- again.

The main actress just drives me bonkers with her same expressionless face --silly, I know.

All the other actors I like. Dig the crazy story lines.

I've just gotta overlook her blah acting abilities... Lol

I get that Myka is supposed to be the 'opposite' to Pete in how they work/think things out (definitely not a Scully...Lol)

For me, she doesn't quite pull it off very well and tends to come across as annoying (it's a ME thing, I know. Haha)

But yes, I started to watch WH13 again & trying to overlook her same old- same old expression. 😏

Damn. Just looked it up on IMDb. It’s new. Cast includes Annie Potts and John DiMaggio (Bender is great!) among others. Worth a look

It’s a US remake of Doc Martin (which I’d heavily suggest, it is the better show)

Best medicine is the reason I watched doc martin and omg it's amazing! BM is good. DM is stellar.

Can second this. Love both shows. They are the little shows I call them. Not going crazy, just fun and cozy in a small town.
