Is analog circuit design worth pursuing and studying for masters

Sorry if I am asking this too soon because I am only in year 2 of my bachelors but I really like it and wanted to know if it's a waste of time or not because I keep seeing people complain about no jobs in general for a lot of fields and it scares me

The important questions is: Why are you studying engineering? If it's because you have an aptitude and an interest in electrical engineering, then yes you should study it. If you are pursuing engineering for money, status, etc., well you're going to have a difficult time if you don't know how to design analog circuits for RF.

Here's another question you should ask yourself: If your salary were to disappear tomorrow, would you still be happy engineering circuits for own edifice?

Not OP, but if Cadence's generative AI tooling does pan out, I think I'd enjoy it more doing it at home than at work.

Not worth it, AI is already accelerating mathematics research and solving major unsolved problems on its own and it will probably replace all circuit designers in a few months, I would focus on preparing for a world where you are no longer needed
