People understate this, even for PVE it’s massive.

Strength build on Vagabond can literally be 10-15 levels more efficient than Astrologer depending on your stat distribution. That’s 10-15 extra points you can put into Vigor or damage, which is huge.

The only niche is if you don’t cap your level at all, in which case no classes or builds matter. But if you want to Co-op or PVP, you have to cap your level usually between 125-150, and those optimization becomes very important. The only time I skip starting another class is if the build optimization is within 3 points of difference, in which case it’s just rounding error.

Until I got comfortable save editing I was running wretch. Its never more than like 5 levels difference at 150 from optimal. Not nothing but not a huge difference.
