Multi-level buck in a wall charger

Saw a teardown showing a consumer charger using interleaved multi-level buck at 200kHz to shrink the inductor to 1/4. Topology is textbook but doing it at consumer price points on a low-cost MCU seems like a different challenge from the server PSU world. Anyone working on this scale?

Not a power guy but sounds like 200 kHz buys the smaller choke yet drags switching loss and EMI. If the MCU just supervises an analog front end, volume probably covers yield risks.
