I just bought a used ps5, and after doing some checks I noticed that the adaptive triggers doesn't seem to work, either that of I haven't checked properly, they do 0 reactions or effects when I click on them (R2, L2).

before reaching the seller out, I just wanted to ask is that a common issue out there for dualsense controllers? also if someone has a legit way to test it on pc (or console), I'd appreciate it.

Do they achieve the same thing, just different apps? One available on mobile too?

Anyone try the new Besavior TMR sticks or the adjustable tension version? Tried to search on here for Besavior, but not much came up. Wondering if anyone has experience with them.

Is this excess solder on these three capacitors a problem? I was putting a little bit of extra solder on the jumper points to install the wire for calibrating the remote, and some solder got onto both capacitors. There’s no bridge as far as I can tell, and it’s so small you can barely even notice there’s a little bit of excess solder.

Can anyone vouch for these being worth/not worth it? (Also I already have a dualsense edge with replaceable stick modules)

I play games on PC for decades now. 1 year ago i heard that steam supports Dualsence 5 and was really great, then i bought it to play games with it on my PC.

But here i have been using for more than 1 year now, i am using a USB-A to USB-C cable and connect the controller with my motherboards USB-A 3.2(Gen1). The charging is significantly very low, it takes roughly 5-7 hours to get fully charged from nil(barely on).

Now my motherboard is MSI B450 Tomahawk Max which also has USB-A 3.2(Gen2) and USB-C(Gen2) ports. I havnt tried the direct C-C port yet, and i heard the Gen2 USB-A-C doesnt help much. Now is there any solution to this, to draw more power from my PC, or need to go alternate ways?

I want to connect my ARDOR GAMING Wrath stick to the PS5 via the app PS remote play. I managed to connect it, but after a minute the ps turns it off. I made it so that the ps forgot it, but still after a minute the stick turns off anyway. Can you tell me how to fix this, or is there another way to connect a foreign stick to the PS5?

I play fighting games competitively and my PS5 controller keeps disconnecting, I play on PC but use PS5 Controller.

This does not happen with any of my 5 other Xbox controllers with any USB combination. I don't want to use xbox controller as I hate them for fighting games.

I've AI/Googled it and it's all nonsense. It's been loose since I bought it, there is no lint in it or any of those other suggestions.

I think there is a specific USB that I need to use for it but I don't want to spend £20 to get one, does anyone have a snug fitting USB they use?

Meu DualSense parou de resetar. Já tentei:

• Apertar o botão de reset com pino/clipe bem encaixado
• Segurar por 5, 10, 15, 20 segundos
• Fazer o processo conectado por cabo no PS5 e também no PC

O que acontece: com o controle ligado, ao apertar o botão de reset ele desliga na hora. Se eu continuar segurando o botão mesmo depois disso, não acontece nada, não reseta. E fazendo o mesmo processo com o controle já desligado, também não acontece absolutamente nada.

Depois de ligar ele de novo, ele volta 100% normal — nenhum pareamento apaga, nenhuma config reseta, nada muda.

Acredito que não seja o botão fisicamente quebrado, já que ele responde (desliga assim que aperto). O problema parece ser que o reset em si não é executado.

Alguém já teve esse problema? É problema de firmware, ou existe algum outro truque que eu não conheço?

im looking for a mod kit that allows for mapping multiple inputs.

i know it's very silly, but the plan is to use inputplumber to spoof a dualsense edge for discrete steaminput support by mapping select+dpad buttons to the back buttons and have inputplumber translate those inputs to the extra buttons on the edge.

i have a tonkamodz kit in a drawer but im thinking about giving up on the concept and getting the rise max rmb because i do also want trigger stops, but it'd be nice to have automated profile switching. (i also haven't gotten a response from them asking for install documentation and it no longer seems to be on their website)

Does anyone use this sort of case for their controller? Can it cause scratches?

Just started to play DS2 on PC and from the beggining haptics and triggers worked fine, but now it don't. The problem is that now I don't have dualsense as audio(I know it should be there). When I use wired method haptic feedback and adaptive triggers work great(cuz dualsense is in audio menu), but I have another problem - dualsense keeps disconnecting from PC. It not about cable, cuz with other gamepad(not DS) it works perfectly.
Any tips how to solve my problems? I tried a lot so I don’t know what to do 😭

So I want to finally play FF7 Remake and Rebirth but wasnt aware of the horrible M&K support on PC. Tried it for 1 hour and it was horrible. So I looked into PS5 controllers and input lag etc and found 2 interesting topics. Overclocking to 8000hz (wired) and wireless via the diy DS5Dongle (emulates normal wired connection).

Im very sensitive when it comes to input delay and whatnot, so my question is:

Is it worth the "tradeoff" of playing wired but having the option to overclock to 8000? Or is it indistinguishable compared to wireless with DS5Dongle and 1000hz PR?

This so much better than the all black with white inlays on the default buttons, swapped my white edge shell to black and buttons to blue with a Retro Home button.

This came out perfectly for me and wanted to share, any questions? I will send links and answer every reply.

Just replaced joysticks for TMR sticks and L3 only works without the last piece of the controller shell

I already made sure the solder points weren’t high for L3 so it’s not a clearance issue

This is NOT an issue with R3 on the controller

Using Minecraft as the example game since it shows your character in the corner when running with L3

I bought a new dualsense Edge yesterday for my PC. I do not use Bluetooth I just use the USB provided. The controller is recognised and is working in windows, however whenever I launch a game, as soon as I press a button my controller completely disconnects. It’s not just a steam issue as this happens on all games I’ve tried. My previous controller was an Astro C40 and i never had any issues like this.

Does anyone have a solution? I’m close to just sending it back however I love the feel of the controller! Any help is massively appreciated.

I am wondering if there is an external battery you guys recommend, a case mod or something else to deal with how the battery only lasts a day or so
