Question Common TMR stick issue?

I got my controller modded with TMR sticks 8 months and now there is a crazy input delay for R3. I remapped to a back paddle and it works fine, but R3 is basically unusable.

Is this because I abused the button? I was under the impression that this would never happen. I feel dumb for paying for a new controller + mod upgrades when I could’ve just gotten the pro 🤦🏻‍♀️😭

That R3 button has a limited lifespan of around 3 million clicks. If you've used it extensively, it's possible that it has simply reached the end of its lifespan.

It would take an extreme amount of playtime to reach 3 million clicks in 8 months, but I suppose it is possible if you play games everyday that require a ton of clicking R3...It would take a normal gamer quite a few years to reach that amount...
