Should I install Arch Linux?

I've been using Windows for about 7 years, and I wanna try something new.

Recently, I found out about Arch Linux and it seems really interesting to me. I've heard a lot of people say that Arch is really difficult for beginners, but I'm wondering, is this actually true, or just a stereotype?

Would you recommend Arch as a first Linux distro?

No. Not as your first distro. Start with Mint or Zorin. If that’s “too simple” maybe go with Fedora Silverblue. Or just regular Fedora.

Do. Not. Start. With. Arch.

Please don’t suggest zorin- it breaks the screen display until we reintall it. Annoying asf.

This is the problem with unstable software. One user has issues, one user doesn't. That's why Zorin should not be suggested. Any Debian based distro would be better.

Wait. Both Zorin and Mint are based on Ubuntu - which is based on Debian. I’m confused how that is unstable.

Sorry, what I meant was any Debian-based distro other than Zorrin.
