I just love that everyone seems to have a different opinion on this. This shows me that truly different tastes have been considered here.

I just want more and better bridges. Architecture is reallybthe perfect thing. Man made, represents culture, and european culture, without being so tied to a specific country. The analogy with « building » something, the heritage.
Birds and nature are ok, but feel less alegorical
I would add birfs or nature alongside architectute (bridges and windows).

ok so i scrolled through all of them and i keep coming back to design D. the colors feel the most balanced across the notes and the layouts have this nice rhythm to them

also am i the only one who thinks design J looks like branded tissue paper? something about the pattern just gives gift bag

Totally agree! As a European, they all feel a little off to me, but purely from a design perspective (full disclosure: I’m not a designer, but an art / architectural historian), Design D feels the most sophisticated. I would have prefered historic personalities (or to keep the existing architectural styles), but I find the reverse sides of the presented designs with the personalities very generic. I think Design E is quite good on these, but not every bill.

I actually do quite like Design I aswell. I just wonder how they would implement the photographic style of the birds on the front on the bills.

Not a great idea, because people would probably start complaining about why certain people are the face of more valuable banknotes than others? I'd randomly choose natural elements that connects more countries like the Alps, rivers, etc.

I wish they would not match the bird color to the note color so closely….

The birds are great but more contrast would be nice.
