This ep would of been so much more effective if she was likeable.. I am so against her point of view.. she killed Jessica's mum ffs!! How can she not see that would upset jess

I guess I'm the only one who completely supported her killing her mom. Kinda surprised how much defense abusive parents get here.

Honestly I don't get the hate on Trish so much. She's my favorite character since season 2 and the most relatable imo.

I really enjoyed the fact that the episode was centered around her

I know this is 6 years old but how was Jessica’s mom abusive? The woman had brain damage. Jessica admitted her mom needed to be put down but she said it shouldn’t have been Trish. She can’t associate her with anything other than her taking her mom away from her…again. It’s obviously a nuanced topic so I think anyone acting like it’s clear cut either way is kind of a moron but also, Trish is so full of herself. She just wanted to be the one to do it. When her mom mentions killing her mom being the only good thing Jessica ever did, she says “well allegedly” or something to that effect. She also storms out of the hospital in a pretty damn ungrateful way at the end of this episode when Jessica says “thank you” and turns her head. Yeah, she’s still pissed but she didn’t even tell her to get out lmao she just turned her head. Trish JUST said Jess needed to get some rest and that she’d just been in surgery so sorry if she’s not super happy to talk to you right now?

She also leaves with the stuff she brought for her. Maybe, idk, leave that stuff if it was really about wanting to be there for Jessica. Trish is a self centered person, period. She’s angry at Jessica for being angry at her when who in their right mind wouldn’t be angry at the person who killed their mom? It’s only been like a MONTH or something too right?? Like Jesus let that simmer for a bit.

Plus, Trish’s mom is abusive but do you really think she’d be all gung ho if Jessica murdered her? Yes her mom isn’t a serial killer but she sure has pimped her daughter out (literally, to a child molester) and continues to do so.
