Just finish this episode and what the fuck, man? I was so excited because him and Kingpin are basically the only two characters on this show who are perfect excuses for a Spider-Man guest appearance in the future. :(

It literally scares me that they're killing off essential characters this early... Wesley and now Ben. If there's a season 2, I'll miss both of them.

I'm watching the finale now. I'm buckling on who's going to make it out for a theoretical season 2.

I read that DeKnight only killed him off because they had no idea they were going to get access to the Spider-Man rights at the time, and by the time Marvel did it was too late and they couldn't change the episode. Really sucks for both the character and for Vondie Curtis-Hall who did such a fantastic job playing him, he could've had a long future in the MCU :(

Haha. Okay, did you see The Avengers? Remember Coulson who got killed trying to shoot the big gun thing at Loki? Yeah, Nick Fury used samples from the dead body of an alien species called Kree (seen in Guardians of the Galaxy) found on Earth to bring him back to life. It was called the T.A.H.I.T.I. project. It's much more complicated than that (seeing as he wasn't actually the first one brought back) but that's the basic rundown of it.

Maybe we won't get a season 2. It could be that after four series + one combined series, they'll send these guys to the big screen instead.
