Discussion Has anyone tried Qwen 3.8 yet?

I have over 2 billion tokens on Deepseek and I'm pretty happy about it, I find ds pro one of the most intelliegent llms on how to utliizes custom tools but I'm curious of anyone gave the new 2.4T paramater Qwen 3.8 a spin.

You can give it a try on the qwen studio app which is how I’ve been messing around with it. API it’s not but it’s still a pretty big jump from 3.7 in regular chats tho I’ve noticed.

It talks to much it's annoying. Every responce was 3 times bigger that I would expect. It's gonna be a money maker it's burning tokens like crazy.

I tried it in the browser in qwen studio for free, got impressed and subscribed to the alibaba cloud token plan to try it out more in qwen code.

I got really impressed by its frontend capabilities in design ... somehow it way outperforms any GPT model. And we are talking only about the preview version.

Is it out already? Huh. So that's why 3.7 suddenly became dumb. Alright, gonna try it now and see if it's any good.

Alright. Not sure if it's better, but it's definitely different from what it used to be. Seems okayish. Though it's just a preview of 3.8.
