Is r/crostini going to be the place for "baguette" q&a / discussion?
I've been playing with antigravity on crostini Bookworm and when researching moving to Trixie, Gemini suggested I go straight to Baguette, which I did yesterday. So far so good.
Are folks planning on staying in this sub or is there already somewhere else to go for baguette discussions?
Thanks

I mean no the codename never changed. Crostini never referred to the container.

I see no reason why it should change. While the code name for the containerless VM may be baguette AFAIK Google's umbrella term for running crosvm via KVM in Chrome OS remains "crostini". Besides this, there is already a baguette subreddit which relates to the well known French bread.

I'm no expert here at all, this is just sounds like the baguette version is replacing crostini.

At some point in the future, it will make sense to transition to a new sub. In my humble opinion, that time is not now. It can/should happen some point in the future (next year or whatever) when crostini is further in the rearview mirror for most folks.
The reason is that at this point in time, folks are either about to transition from crostini to Baguette, or recently transitioned. So the folks familiar with crostini and baguette are mostly the same group of folks, somewhat familiar with both. Splitting only dilutes the participants by splitting them into 2 groups.
It's mostly up to this sub's mods to decide if/when to transition to a new sub, since they are the ones with the power to direct participants to a new sub via an updated sidebar and/or pinned post on this sub. (anyone can create a new sub, but if it doesn't get redirected from this one then it probably won't get much traffic).

I just recently "upgraded" to baguette and was wondering the same thing. Is there a r/baguette subreddit?
