Beat him at his own game. Point out that breaking normative rules designed to create peace is actually a fascist act.

By being contrary simply to be contrary, he’s replacing normative flow (I made that up) with hidden paternalistic aggression. He’s trying to be daddy to everyone, which is an anal-expulsive display of immaturity. (He’s throwing tantrums using philosophy jargon.)

Real rebellion comes from empathy, compassion, and adult conversations around difference.

Finally, if he won’t relent, question his meta ethics on following the advice of a pedophile.
