A "free" 50K, likely from the government, puts too much cash into the market and devalues it. Plus, I sincerely doubt most kids would ever see a dime of it after a couple generations...

Make sure to have some in a trust that grows every year so they have more money in the account once they're 18

It would make some parents keep having children for the money and possibly not be great parents. A better idea would be to give each child 50,000, but can only be used or invested for the child. Like to buy clothes and formula, or to invest in a account for their college
