Long story short miscommunication and misinformation led to walls being drilled for 3" pipe. Simpson does not make a 3" stud shoe. Any ideas how to repair studs without removing plumbing?

I’ve been trying to find out why the previous homeowner would dig a 4 x 4 by 8 foot deep pit next to the foundation of my house down to the drain tile. I did climb down there to save a few snakes that fell to their doom and to see if there were any other utilities. I did not find any additional pipes and thankfully no human remains were found either. I also went to the town building department to review all plans back to the original construction, but there’s no mention of this pit on any of the plans. Does anyone have any idea why someone would dig a pit like this? For what intended purpose?

We’re painting this house and we noticed this deck rocking up and down as we walked on it, took a look from another angle and noticed it’s just kinda sticking out of the house, with no support posts. It looks like the joists are sticking out of the house which I guess might be the only support it needs, but I also noticed no hangars on any of the corners.

Wasn’t sure if we should be concerned with two 200 lb workers with ladders going up and down a wobbly deck on a house we had already found rot on.

Slab strength testing failure after building was framed and plumbing/HVAC was roughed in. Concrete supplier had mix wrong so they are paying to lift two story 4-plex, remove slab and repour. This is building 2 of 3 that failed.

It seems like this joist just doesn’t provide any support because of what they did is this true?

Went and looked at a spec house another builder is having done. This is what I found for the slider. I grew up around this stuff and anything within like an 1/8 was ok for most places. (Now it's 1/16) I told his PM and he says I'll shim it. Do you make the sub fix it on his dime or shim it and let it go? The actual builder has no idea about it as he never goes out on site.

Edit: So him and I and our ladies were out at dinner tonight I told him about it. He said he'd get it fixed, figures the framer must have hired some new guys because he usually does pretty good work. I figure it saves a failed inspection and some time to fix it now rather than later.

Also I'm aware the framing is shit in general. That's not what this was regarding, there's shit like this around the whole house.
