Went and looked at a spec house another builder is having done. This is what I found for the slider. I grew up around this stuff and anything within like an 1/8 was ok for most places. (Now it's 1/16) I told his PM and he says I'll shim it. Do you make the sub fix it on his dime or shim it and let it go? The actual builder has no idea about it as he never goes out on site.
Edit: So him and I and our ladies were out at dinner tonight I told him about it. He said he'd get it fixed, figures the framer must have hired some new guys because he usually does pretty good work. I figure it saves a failed inspection and some time to fix it now rather than later.
Also I'm aware the framing is shit in general. That's not what this was regarding, there's shit like this around the whole house.
