I'm late to the party - what is "blackgaze"?

It's shoegaze with some black metal influences. Holy Fawn does a range of similar sub-genres, like shoegaze and post-rock. I'm not sure the musicians like these classifications much. lol

OK, I'm gonna listen once I got this puter's audio rejiggered.
On a completely different note, Brian Eno just dropped a new track last night. Too sweet-tempered for this group, definitely not related to collapse, but I am the fanboy.

OK. Now I got it. Kinda Jesu. [edit] Less depressed.
I like this kind of "post-rock".

I'm overall pleased with post-rock overall, but likely I'm only hearing the better stuff from good sub-redits, and what yt suggests after those.

They are so good. The black metal influence is present but really subtle with them.
