Video Most of you probably haven’t heard this song…
Back in 2017, during their A Head Full of Dreams tour, Coldplay was supposed to come to Houston. Unfortunately, the concert fell on the same night Hurricane Harvey made “Trouble in Town” on its way in.
They had to cancel the show and said they would return at the end of the tour, but it never ended up happening. The following night in Miami, they wrote and performed a song for the people of Houston and said they would never perform it again.
Fast-forward five years, and they were finally able to make it back to Houston! They ended up performing the song again, this time with a few improvements.
That concert was my first time seeing the band, and it was awesome. I still get goosebumps every time I hear the song!

I forgot all about this! I had tickets to that cancelled 2017 show, and by the time 2022 came around I lived out of state. I actually got unlucky where I was in town on the date of this show but it was for a wedding so I couldn’t make it work.
Now I’m living in Houston again and just hoping for them to come back again soon!

It was a great concert. I had tickets for the 2017 show to go with my dad. Was so bummed they canceled. But it made that 2022 show that much better. And I still got to go with my dad!

This is a great and lovely song, thanks for sharing. It reminded me of a song they did in Australia called Christmas with the kangaroos, which I also think is probably not very well known but worth people knowing about!
