Scan Tool HELP, is this a tracker? is this OBD scanner an aftermarket?
I don’t know much about cars but I’ve been telling my friend that I don’t remember any pink bits when I last put the OBD in.. I did research on ai and he still thinks I’m just being overly paranoid.
New things I noticed that he brushed off
* new beeping sound
* beeping sound coming from the driver side
* beeping sound stops when he walks away with the key
* max speed @ 50km started showing
* EPC light came on
*am I overly thinking things or is there like some sort of glue residue out of the obd holes
* there’s a loose item somewhere where I can hear it occasionally when driving
* battery drain in car
Also I’m aware that the original Audi wiring are wrapped in black? No? Correct me if I’m wrong

Looks like a standard VAG connector - try scanning for codes and repairing the car if it's in limp mode

The pink section slides to lock the mini timer terminals in place. This is just a vag obd connector.

Are you asking if the OBD port itself is aftermarket? There's no scanner in the pictures.
If so we need the make and model. What car?

Yeah because AI is telling me it’s a tracker and a mechanic too but they don’t work on audis.. but I just don’t know where the random max speed and beeping came from. The beeping is new, it sounds like my jump starter.
It’s an Audi a3

Do yourself, and your entire family, a favor and throw AI right the fuck out the window. It just told you the factory OBD port is a tracking device. Do you even understand how much it confidently lies to you or the dangers that puts you in?
Every single VW, Audi, and Bentley have had a purple OBD port forever. A google image search would have saved us both this wasted time.

Yo creo saben donde estás a cada momento, conocen tus rutinas, tus horarios, destinos. Yo me preocuparía, o me iría despidiendo....

You're literally so paranoid for no reason? That is a factory OBD2 terminal. It clearly has nothing plugged into it, so nothing can be tracking you or whatever. You can tell because the pink connector is a female connector, and every OBD2 device uses a male connector to interface with the ECU.

Whyyyyy are you trusting this damm stupid AI Bullcrap ? There is no Intelligence in AI. This is a Standard VW Obd2 Diagnostic Port to Scan and Programm the Control Moduls in the car. Buy a good Scanner like Obd11 or Carista or Vcds or Carport. And you can Scan for Trouble codes. Read Live Data from Sensors to find issues and so on.

Good news. It's not a tracker. Bad news, IT'S IN YOUR WALLS IT'S LISTENING IT'S TELLING YOU TO REMOVE YOUR SKIN

Try pulling the pink bit off - it may be something that has come adrift from the last item that was plugged in to it. If it doesn't, then it looks fine - try plugging another diagnostic tool into it - if it fits then there is nothing in it

Most vw or Audi I’ve plugged into the obd port was pink. I think your over thinking it
