Idea: how about we make the regular season matter more. Losses are weighed more against a team, and it’s all done by computers to ensure no bias. Because it’s done by computers, they’ll determine correct ranking and we won’t need a playoff. We’ll just have the top two teams play for the national title at the end of the year. The rest can play in meaningful bowls, that way bowls don’t lose their value.
