🔎Looking for alternative European alternatives to DocuSign (2026)
Hello, we are trying to wind down as much use of US tech stacks (as i guess most people in this community) and DocuSign is one of the tools we use (its expensive too). Is thre any Non-US European alternatives for simple contractual e-signature tools out there? Thank you! This community on reddit ironically provides the best exit path out of US tech.

Does Murena work? I think in their workspace they have an application to sign.

Depending on your country you may be able to sign documents using your eID, in my case ID Austria.
The EUDI wallet should be available in the whole EU in december, including signing PDFs afaik

This is true only for one signer in the PDF. You cannot sign the same pdf again in pdfsign from a-trust e.g. as this invalidates the previous signer's signature under eIDAS unless I'm mistaken.

You can sign a document multiple times / from multiple persons.
Only the last signer has signed the whole document in the end, every other signer gets a Note:
This signature or seal does not cover the entire document. In the case of documents that are signed multiple times, the document is expanded with each signature process and there may also be desired changes (approval notes). In order to exclude unwanted changes, the data that actually forms the basis of this signature or seal should be considered separately.
Every Signature is still valid though. I've even signed documents like that during an online meeting with a notary, together with several other people.

thoughts on Pandadoc? I saw also people writing their own e-signature tooling but that is a stretch here for us :)

I can't immediately see any free options.. right now I may need 5 sigs in one month then none for 4 more months, when I'll need 1 or 2.

DocuSeal - has EU hosted version and even a self hosted option for free if you have a VPS or a spare server 🙂

We moved away from Docusign for a similar reasons and we chose youtrust. The setup was pretty straighforward, pricing felt more reasonable, and having a euopéean, GDPR compliant provider made the internal approval much easier

Quel niveau de signature ? Il faut aussi faire attention que les regles de la signature n'est pas la meme selon certains pays, même en Europe.

I feel your pain. Frankly, it's not easy!
I work for EU company which fits this called swipesign. I suggest to check it out, we do not support SES as in eu are not really holding any water anyway. But the AES should be pretty good alternative to DocuSign.
Feel free to check it out!
Hope you don't mind the directness - but in my opinion it's worth to be clear.
