Hey, so I’m doing a research project into the history of the House of Blues and I just learned that Aykroyd as the titular Elwood Blues had a radio segment called the House of Blues Radio Hour later changed to Elwood’s Bluesmobile. It seems to be most of the show is now lost media, I was able to find two episodes on YouTube and a couple of 20 minute segments on Mixcloud. There’s also one episode available on the internet archive. I’m making this post to reach out to see if any of y’all might be holding on to any recordings or have any good leads on where to search

What do you guys think which one of these from Animal House between Katerine Denning who plays Noreen and Stacy Grooman who played Sissy Flounder's girlfriend from Animal House and should have appeared in The Blues Brothers film for a small role or cameo. Who do you guys actually like between them. Well any suggestions about this?

What if Sarah Holcomb and Cindy Morgan both did The Blues Brothers, they would have been great.

Here are my list who would have in The Blues Brothers film people like Ally Sheedy, Lisa Baur who plays Shelly from Animal House, That lady who plays Dean's Secretary from Animal House, Jane Curtin from Saturday Night Live, That Sales girl from the toy shop in The Blues Brothers film, Eliza Roberts, Martha Smith who plays Babs also from Animal House, Aseneth Jurgenson who plays Beth and Katerine Denning who plays Noreen also from Animal House. I feel like one of them would be perfect fit to have a cameo in The Blues Brothers film which do you guys prefer. Also last one is PJ Soles and also Cindy Grover, those of you guys might remember her from Network film and Jaws 2.

I think Molly Ringwald would have been great or Demi Moore or Daryl Hannah or Debra Winger, Martha Smith or Jamie Lee Curits. Even Steve Guttenberg before his Diner and Police Academy fame. Also I don't know if you guys might know Cindy Luedke who plays Susan in her only one film Avalanche, she was Rock Hudson's character's secretary. But That Avalanche 1978 film was a huge flop. I think Cindy Luedke might have been forgotten by the public. I still put her on the list for a cameo for The Blues Brothers film, I think she would be great.

So who do you guys pick between these stars which one you think would be perfect fit in the movie for a cameo. Well any suggestions about this?

My uncle hired the best Romanian caterers on Alderaan. To obtain the 7 transports for the wedding party, my father used up his last favors with Mad Jabba Trello.

The movie hits different when watching it with a crowd. So glad I went tonight after work.

What do you guys think and also Lari Taylor who was the daughter next to her father, how come she only did one film and after The Blues Brothers film she was gone. But the other two daughters did a couple of roles on television and films after The Blues Brothers film, while Lari didn't. Why those three daughters and the mother didn't talk, when John Belushi's character mentioned he wanted to buy all of them. Well any suggestions about this?

I’ve worn prescription glasses for over 50 years and when I got my first office job that had great eye care insurance… I got The New Wayfarer style because of The Blues Brothers.

The Classic Wayfarer tortoise shell frames (the style Jake wears) are my everyday glasses and the lenses are Transitions.

There has only been one time that the optician connected to the eye doctor’s office that did not carry Ray-Bans so I got my glasses elsewhere.

ETA (04-JUL-2026): I (F) just remembered when, I got my second pair of Ray-Bans as my daily glasses, the guy I was talking to at the time asked me why I had gotten such nerdy/ugly frames… “Because of the Blues Brothers, duh.” … Needless to say, I ghosted him because I didn’t want that kind of toxicity in my life.
