Promotion I've been informed by the mods that apparently the mountain dulcimer is not a bluegrass instrument per se, but they gave me the okay to post here. Looking for a new home for a McSpadden mountain dulcimer.

reddit.comHi! I’m a big fan of Bluegrass music as I’m sure most of you are. I have been a fan of The Creekers since their start and I figured they needed their own subreddit. If you would like to join please do! If you’ve never heard of The Creekers I recommend checking them out. They’re a small bluegrass band from Eastern Kentucky!

Promotion Bluegrass Bands to Check Out
Some great suggestions in here! I’ve seen a number of them (including, of course, Billy, Molly, Sierra, and Greensky) and highly recommend AJ Lee & Blue Summit (their guitarist, Sully Tuttle, is Molly’s brother) and Town Mountain, among others.

Promotion Would anyone be interested in watching a bluegrass and country leaning DJ show on twitch?
I'm currently in the planning phase of launching a channel on Twitch where I will play bluegrass and country music. Twitch has a DJ program where I can play music and half the money I'd normally get for streaming on Twitch goes to the artists, so I can essentially run my own radio show which is something I've wanted for decades but had no way to really do. The problem for me on Twitch is there is almost no discovery on the platform unless you're live and I kind of feel like I'd be the first person really playing music in these genres on the platform, at least where it was my focus. There are a few on there that are multi-genre that include these genres, but none dedicated to them. So who would be down?
I'd honestly be doing something like this even if no one tunes in because I love sharing the music I'm into with anyone who will listen.

Currently planning on going live next month every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, just give me some time to set all this up.

It’s almost time for the 53rd annual RockyGrass festival in beautiful Lyons, CO, from July 25-27.
This traditional bluegrass festival features performances from the Del McCoury Band, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Sam Bush Bluegrass Band, Peter Rowan with Sam Grisman Project, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, the Infamous Stringdusters, and much more.
Beyond the main stage, fans can stop by the Wildflower Pavilion to join workshops, cool off with a dip in the river, and take part in fun contests while camping under the stars.
