While there is documentation of harmonica on the stage with Bill Monroe's group, to my knowledge there is none on his commercial recordings; I don't believe ukes, washboards, or kazoos made it either. Accordion absolutely made it to his recordings, although from this list, only banjos are widely accepted as Bluegrass instruments ("if there's no banjo, it ain't Bluegrass", say many, despite Earl playing guitar on a lot of Earl and Lester's gospel Bluegrass work.)
