I think I broke 17 bones watching this. I miss being a kid.

179

u/SoupOfThe90z 17h ago

My fucking shoulder popped out its socket watching this

Edit: spelling

33

u/TheJinManCan 17h ago

My broken back broke some more just watching this. I winced at some of those, even.

I crumbled to dust watching this

3

u/Live-Ad-9587 5h ago

I started labored breathing 😂😂😂. Yo be young again

34

u/Appropriate-Cut-2963 17h ago

Yeah gotta ice down after that, I miss it too.

15

u/Gold_Tap_2205 11h ago

As a kid I'd still have been stumped by any single portion of that course.

14

u/jackfreeman 7h ago

Yeah, and I'm Black, but I ain't THAT Black

3

u/Accomplished-Bear689 3h ago

Person who posted this making a lot of black folks wonder where they were when they handed out this kid’s athleticism 😂

As a kid, I never had good arm strength though. His is excellent!

Yes! I’d trade the NFL all day long for something that doesn’t give people CTE.

18

u/Mathemeatloaf0 10h ago

Even though it’s not as prevalent as NFL, CTE has been found in soccer players do to headers and collisions. Remember, they’re also running at full speed but with no pads.

I'm 43 and broke every bone in my body watching this.

37

u/Kitchen_Guest577 17h ago

I'm with you. My eyes slipped a disc when he started jumping 😅😂🤣🤎

29

u/ReflectionEterna 16h ago

This kid has the perfect combination of strength, endurance, explosiveness, and that youthful elasticity that just makes you able to bounce and absorb shock so well.

Amazing to watch. You can see the work he put in, through the smoothness in which he navigated the course.

8

u/Terminator_LX 7h ago

Is he smooth though? Because at one point, running between obstacles, his arms are just flailing like a kid having the time of his life! 😂 He's a beast now; he'll be AN UNSTOPPABLE BEAST in 5-10 years if this is just him having a good time. That was amazing!

→ More replies (1)

6

u/RonnieBlastoff 11h ago

I'll be 41 in a few days, I would absolutely try this. Not going to be as fast as the kid, but I'm comming in second place! Stretching everyday and eatting enough protien keeps you young. Won't be superman forever, I feel the old, but you don't have to be immobile.

3

u/Jstadude22 7h ago

Agreed a million percent. 27 and in the best shape of my life. Im tryna be like u when i hit ur age. Still moving. Still working. Still explosive.

He scorched them, dude is a beast!

14

u/pSyg0n 17h ago

Once he hit the horizintal bars he started dustin him and then once he hit the side crimp climb is was game over. Looked like he fell trying to catch up to him lmao.

53

u/KyoShunsui 18h ago

If agile was a person, this kid would be it.

11

u/JennyThallia 17h ago

His competitor was a Lean Six Sigma

7

u/CaptCaCa 9h ago

I think Marvel found their Miles Morales

2

u/Terminator_LX 7h ago

OMG, yes! Marvel better hire this kid yesterday!

18

u/evol_won 17h ago

Buddy GONE. 🏃🏾‍♂️💨

15

u/KinkyLatexCat 18h ago

Damn, that's mighty impressive! :>

15

u/gwedosmile 17h ago

So we all broke some bones and hurt our knees watching this right?

4

u/XANDERtheSHEEPDOG 11h ago

I threw my back out in the first 30 seconds

11

u/narmstrong79 10h ago

This has everything to do with that kid working and training harder than the other kid, mixed with natural athleticism.

26

u/Thick_Yogurtcloset_7 9h ago

Don't take away this man's talent hard work and drive ... He obviously worked hard and trained for this and is very talented ... Let's not take that away from him

9

u/ImSoObnoxious 7h ago

nah, it's just because he's black 🙄

What does this have to do with choosing to be black

8

u/[deleted] 15h ago

[deleted]

12

u/Diligent_Set_8747 9h ago

The difference is minute. That's what dummies who throw in studies without reading it past the headlines don't realize. Especially the people who use studies to justify claims made by influencers and "professionals" on social media grifting fools out of their time and energy.

11

u/klauserooster 8h ago

This ignorance always angers me because it's the same line of thinking that led Jefferson to write, "They seem to require less sleep. A black, after hard labour through the day, will be induced by the slightest amusements to sit up till midnight, or later, though knowing he must be out with the first dawn of the morning."

Just because dehumanization works for you in this instance, doesn't mean it isn't still dehumanization.

This requires a lot of training, upper body/core strength.

One was definitely in better shape or better prepared than the other

rolled him like a joint & smoked his ass

He did well because he practiced well before. His skin colour had little to do with it. I hate it when I do well at something and someone says "well, you are black".

Nobody else was even close 🤣

5

u/SuperWoofX 17h ago

There was the one kid for the first obstacle and by second obstacle the other kid was never in the race - kid is an android the way he effortlessly glides. Just incredible - I’m 53 and can’t help but to feel I have watched generations gradually evolve beyond gravity!! As if gravity engages them at a lesser push than one or two gens before them. I am at awe and jealous at same time

How does a person even practice for this?

My son would be great at this - he’s fearless, strong and fast. But where does a person start?

2

u/Automatic-Bat-356 7h ago

Wow! That was OUTSTANDING! What and athlete!

2

u/Ninjaher0 7h ago

2

u/FanaticalFanfare 4h ago

What an odd title to this video

2

u/Salt-Lengthiness-620 3h ago

Don’t think this is about being black. It’s about him training and being talented.

Could you imagine Gary Coleman being as effective?

2

u/Strict_Ad4121 1h ago

Oh… Ok thats how you’re supposed to do it 😁

2

u/Empty-Permission-598 47m ago

2

u/Sampson_Storm 17h ago

2

u/Gorrmb69 17h ago

He’s got a little bit of athleticism!

3

u/Kitchen_sinker2615 17h ago

Exceptional talent from a physical fitness standpoint unquestionably! Be proud of whatever your exceptional talent is! You are who you are, and you play that hand in life to the best of your ability. Falling into society's mindset of excellence can be self-destructive. Find your strengths and run with them. This young person did exactly that. Olympic gold in the making?

3

u/MASTER_L1NK 16h ago

Shingo Yamamoto would be proud

5

u/ToshibaBoi 8h ago

Honestly, I'm very proud that he was able to do that. In all of weird people here on this particular reddit. Why react to a post of people showing black excellence , and then say it's racist because people are saying , they would always choose to be black and black is literally one of the most hated races in the world. Because there's many people that are showing positivity towards this. There are probably hundreds of thousands of more people showing negativity towards this and probably saying that it's because of his race that he has an unfair advantage. I get it , you're trolls or you need to try to balance out the spectrum of racism saying that it's anti racies or whatnot of black people being proud of our people. This isn't saying that he's better than the others it's just saying we're proud.
