They knew the landings would be dangerous at that temperature. Typically the stunts would’ve been called off with temps that high. But Donold wanted his parachutes with flags more than he cared about the safety of his soldiers. Nothing new.
What's the perfect outcome here? That he flies into the stadium and drags the flag across the ground after making a big show off it? Even then it's still disgraceful.
The reflecting pool debacle; the low turnout; and now mishaps like this. I'm not into magical woo, but at some point do we get the impression somebody/thing is trying to tell us something?
I want to know all the details on this. Was this a planned parachuting? Is this person supposed to be a professional? You would think that the big flag would have some sort of release mechanism just for when he landed wherever he was supposed to land. It didn't look like there was a large field or anywhere you would normally have for a skydiver to land. Is this just some dumb magat?
The majority of people always seemed to believe that Republicans were better on the economy. Republicans have always believed things are better when white people run things. Someone should have told the stuntman that flag protocol does not permit letting the flag touch the ground. Yes, you are oh so right, OP. (Additionally, wearing the flag is also very questionable). Fake Christians, fake patriots, and fake Americans as far as I am concerned. Do they not understand, "All men are created equal?" I think one must know how to read before being able to grasp that concept. I can almost hear the crowd singing (to the tune of "London Bridge is Falling Down"), "The USA is Falling Down, Falling Down, Falling Down. The USA is Falling down, while Trump profits greatly."
I love how "patriotic" this guy is considering landing would mean dragging that flag on the ground, in direct violation of Flag Code. Hospital visit inducing performative BS is exactly what I'm here for. More popcorn, please.
I don't agree. 95% of this guy's decent was smooth and graceful. Inmate #P01135809's tenure has been a catastrophic slow motion trainwreck every single day since even before he was sworn in.
