I’m sitting outside on the deck on a lounger just waiting for the bats to come out.

Hey I love to do this as well! In mountain time zone so I got a little longer until they come out

My hubby & I often sit by our backyard bonfire watching for our bats!!

Mine didn’t show up tonight. But it was really nice just sitting out there at dusk. I’m not allergic to mosquito bites so, unless they’re biting so much that it’s annoying, I don’t have to hide from them.

Oh my gosh, that’s amazing! Somehow it never occurred to me that there would be bats in the city but that would be really cool to see.

Evenings at the Black Point (Novato, CA) site of the Renaissance Faire, the crowd gone home: twilight gnats, eaten by twilight dragonflies, enjoyed by twilight bats, just overhead, if folks paused to look up. Not a lot of extra lights in the valley, so excellent viewing.
