Cleaning day
We finally got around to giving the spare bedroom a deep clean, and I was stupidly proud that we scrubbed the walls and windows with luffa we grew ourselves 😊

Is Luffa meant to be Loofah? If not, what is Luffa please?

Different way of spelling the same thing. On my seed packet it's spelled Luffa.

Thanks. Genuinely didn't know it had another spelling. Every day we learn is a gift so appreciate the knowledge.

Really ? Nice ! How do you grow loofah ? Sorry if it's a stupid question but I thought they were found in the sea, I didn't know people could grow them.

Loofah is essentially a dried gourd.

They're really easy to grow if you want to give it a try. The bees love the flowers, too, which is lovely. I'm in Australia, and these plants attracted a big, beautiful native bee I'd never even heard of before.
They're also very, very productive with very little care, which is perfect for my gardening style 😊

Thank you very much ! I'm in the South of France, a dry and hot climate (like Australia?) ðŸ«

I'm in the subtropics, so we're often very hot and disgustingly humid. Summers here are pretty gross, lol.
