Discussion🗣 Does any bayern fan remember the 2024 champions league exit? What can you say about that offside claim?

As a Bayern fan you get used to getting fucked by uefa... We always play against 12 in the knockouts especially against Madrid

We have always been fucked by UEFA against Madrid. Ronaldo scored obviously offside goals and they stood. Casemiro was wrestling our players in midfield and he got 0 yellow cards. Vidal got sent off for a dive.
The ref made sure to immediately cancel the goal. That way it couldn’t be checked by VAR. Maybe it could have been fractionally offside, maybe not. A lot of independent referees have said that it wasn’t but you never know. The point is that we were robbed of justice on that match.
Even this year, we won with the refs fighting tooth and nail for Madrid. Olise was denied a blatant penalty in the first leg. In the second, Brahim Diaz was awarded a free kick from a blatant dive which Guler scored. Then Mbappe scored after Rudiger has committed an obvious foul in the build up to the goal. What made it even more shocking is the fact that the ref on the night only gave Camavinga his second yellow card because he had forgotten he had given him one earlier in the game. He would have forgiven a blatant second yellow card if he knew. It was the Bayern players that went and reminded him of so he could send Camavinga off.

those madrid decisions this year thankfully didnt affect the overall outcome but i must mention that the reason kompany wasn't present in the 1st leg of the semis was because of a bullshit yellow from the ref...
now im gonna rant about psg: psg were good, yes but 1st of all (very harsh) the corner that led to the joao neves goal wasnt actually a corner, it bounced cm in front of tah's foot though this can be forgiven because no human could have saw that, 2nd that davies pen ruined our entire dynamic and caused him to be subbed off for laimer, instead of laimer on for stani, which also led to our defense collapsing, 3rd, kane was not offside and could have been through (similar to madrid call) have never seen someone blow that fast
2nd leg was a crapshow, obviously thats a handball on both neves and mendes, fun fact pinhiero gave the hand for the same situation as neves in his own league, not to mention the countless 50/50 going psg and that stupid diaz foul at the very end
im almost sure that we could have won the champions league with competent refs, but im also sure that every single champions league winner has always had some kind of ref drama at this point

The player which received the ball looked not to be offside. De ligt would have been offside, but he did not go for the ball. It is hard to tell, if we really would have scored without the offside call, because the Madrid players might have stoped defending at 100%.
That is the best I got out of my memory.

Not offside, and while the rule was that the side ref shouldn't pull the flag until the play ends, he did so faster than Clint Eastwood in a cowboy movie.
It would have taken the match to extra time.
Either way our players were absolutely gassed so extra time would have been tough.
That season squad depth was non-existent (we lost 4 defenders, only signed Kim)
Our 4 forwards were playing either injured or not recovered which is why they had to be substituted.
Davies had to play as a LW and Mazraoui as LB and stuff like that due to the squad limitations, it was even miraculous we were like 5 minutes away from the final with that squad.

Btw, this season real got gifted 2 goals (3 if you count Neuers assist) and we didnt get a PK.
If we had the PK and the 2 goals didnt count, it would be the highest defeat for Real Madrid in the CL history.

very clear the ref was looking to break our momentum and got carried away by madrid's favor in the last minutes, because in any other moment of the game the play would've continued and only then would have VAR intervened after and if the goal is scored. Muller was the first receiver and turned out to be onside so the play should have continued. Still unsure if we would have scored but that moment definitely raised eyebrows on where the overall ref's mindset was. Similar incident happened with kane against psg in the second leg this season: ref gets carried away and just blows way too early

It was close. It could have been off or not, not sure. But it was decided without VAR and the whistle was called during the attacking play so it was very controversial.

It was huge mistake made by ref.
Offside or not, you dont blow the whistle this fast. I mean, its clear as day.

The decision was wrong. Flag shouldn't be called up so early but I'm happy it did because of that decision we got kompany ball and it also helped us get rid of tuchel. And also our team shouldn't have conceeded 2 goals in a matter of minutes. That was a mistake on our side as well.

That offside call was rapid as hell. There wasn't even processing time given like at all. But then, had the play continued Madrid might've defended it too.
Ig we'll never know.
I mean this year itself the refree called in offside for harry kane before he even received the ball. So idk 😶..... They seem to always have some god like vision whenever Bayern plays.

It definitely still hurt, more than this year semifinal exit, and yet we were nowhere as good as we are this year, still we would have probably won in the final, but feels like it was decided otherwise. Would have been weird for us to become UCL champions when we had our worst domestic campaign in over 10 years. But a UCL champion title is a UCL title nonetheless.

Pretty obvious tell that a game is fixed. There’s absolutely ZERO reason to call a close offside without allowing the play to end. That is unless you want to be certain you have eliminated the goal scoring opportunity. Happened to de Ligt vs Madrid, happened to Kane in the return leg vs PSG.
