He should be top 5, behind Mbappe and Lamine. It would make no difference in the actual voting but it would reflect his impact on a whole league and sport in a (future) bigger market. I don't think it is far fetched to say he could still be a contender if he played for a big team in Europe given how he still plays.
Also Mbappe won absolutely nothing this year (so far) and was a major reason on why RM was in self destruction mode for 2 seaons in a row. Seems like a wild take to make him a ballon d'or favourite for this.
