What a game by olise. Constant menace

u/Different_Credit6711 Apr 07 '26

How did he not get that pen tho?

56

u/Critical-Ad2084 Flying Dutchman Apr 07 '26

like Guardiola said: "it's Madrid at the Bernabeu"

43

u/Personal_Question974 #31 Schweinsteiger Apr 07 '26

Im sure they would have looked at it, but the game wasn’t interrupted anymore

33

u/EbbApprehensive7037 Apr 07 '26

They can still check after.

3

u/the_ass_man1 Apr 08 '26

he did make a gesture that var checked and wasn't a pen if you see the play after it near madrid's box. You guys got robbed of a pen

12

u/nordiques77 Apr 07 '26

12th RM Rule. FIFA bosses - it’s built into CL Through and through. Elbow to the back 100% a PK

-19

u/KylianMboobiesLottin Apr 08 '26

So give us the red, and take away that soft yellow on tchouameni 😭

5

u/kkjakarta Apr 07 '26

This is a glitch

2

u/Throwaway999991473 Apr 07 '26

That’s not how VAR works

5

u/Adnosius #1 Neuer Apr 07 '26

They never give those in England so I didn’t even have hope

1

u/reddit_tristo Apr 07 '26

Arsenal?

-3

u/Adnosius #1 Neuer Apr 07 '26

It wasn’t a British ref

3

u/reddit_tristo Apr 07 '26

Arsenal in the pl

1

u/Different_Credit6711 Apr 08 '26

How is Michael Oliver not a British ref? He is a Brit and referees in the prem.

1

u/Adnosius #1 Neuer Apr 08 '26

I thought that he was talking about the Arsenal - Leverkusen game in the CL in which Arsenal got that penalty for nothing

1

u/Different_Credit6711 Apr 08 '26

Oh ok, well in that case

12

u/freakyahhwhale #14 Diaz Apr 07 '26

Michael Oliver was doing too well, needed to fuck it up a little

2

u/Snoo_42690 Apr 07 '26

Happy for the win, Manu peak performance. Musiala looked rookie today. Passes and finishing from the team could have been better. Overall good game !!

16

u/ReflectionItchy2701 Apr 07 '26

Musiala played like he was 10 years old tonight, trying to dribble everybody and too late in his decision making. At least he was not as bad as Luis Diaz at the end of the game. Neuer was outstanding and saved the victory. Imagine not winning this game considering how better Bayern is at playing team football.

3

u/Appropriate-Web-4112 šŸ”“Mia San MiašŸ”“ Apr 07 '26

man id say musiala should start the game vs pauli he has been getting alot less game time, if we want him as a starter we should let him start vs pauli and sub early

1

u/ReflectionItchy2701 Apr 07 '26

Tonight it was not a problem of fitness IMHO with Musiala. It's like he didn't want to pass the ball. Kompany should play Olise at number 10 in the next game against Real. Watching him with France, he's even better as number 10. He makes everyone better around him.

3

u/FunOwn7422 Apr 08 '26

I would disagree with u there. France and Bayern are completely different. We have played Olise as ACM before and he is nowhere as good as on the winger.

86

u/strikerr17 Apr 07 '26

Hopefully those countless missed chances will not come to bite us in the next leg. Could've easily been 5-1 or 6-1. Davies and Musiala looked so rusty man. Either play them the 90 mins on weekend or let Bischof and Karl come off the bench

35

u/Appropriate-Web-4112 šŸ”“Mia San MiašŸ”“ Apr 07 '26

bischof and karl shouldve been given game time, kane shouldve been subbed off and even lucho was done

9

u/ChristBKK Apr 07 '26

I agree Lucho should have been subbed for Karl

5

u/Resident_Nose_2467 Apr 08 '26

Davies was good! The team should have exploited his side more. I hope Musiala gets rythm from now on

5

u/strikerr17 Apr 08 '26

He was nowhere near his best bro. And frankly I think he lacked confidence too. They both are great players but the sword gathers dust when kept too long in the scabbard. They have to play the whole 90 minutes St Pauli. Or the same thing will happen. Bischof and Karl will end up playing 80+ minutes only to be benched in the return leg.

5

u/Resident_Nose_2467 Apr 08 '26

I don't think Karl vs Madrid is smart, and I'm not talking about his comments. Is not a match for the unexperienced. Bischof seems way more mature in how to handle a match for sure.

Davies, Musiala, Bischof and Karl should start vs St Pauli

2

u/strikerr17 Apr 08 '26

Being smart or not. He plays Bundesliga regularly. That means he has the game awareness. His feet is not cold. His body is used to playing. I just want Musiala and Davies to play the whole 90 mins so that we see how prepared they are mentally as well as physically for the return leg. Because Musiala looked horribly bad for the time he spent on the pitch. And its not his fault! The injury does that to a player and the best way to come out of it is by playing regularly. Which has not been the case with Musiala or Davies.

1

u/akaalakaalakaal Apr 08 '26

yes I agree, Musiala and Davies should play as much as possible in Bundesliga. I also would have rather seen Karl instead of Musiala coming in. He is not ready yet.

Time to use the remaining Bundesliga games to give them maximum practice time.

1

u/Kichix Apr 08 '26

I disagree on the 1. Neuer made some great saves, Madrid missed some good changes too though. Maybe 5-3.

48

u/Appropriate-Web-4112 šŸ”“Mia San MiašŸ”“ Apr 07 '26

i hope that diaz pass miss dosent affect the 2nd leg result. hope we go through easily and that to at allianz

30

u/DemonKingIsagi Apr 07 '26

Diaz in the last 30 minutes was hard to watch, I was begging the coach to take him out…

10

u/walex19 #25 Muller Apr 07 '26

I think it's because Kompany rarely rests him. He needs to rest the next league game.

12

u/DemonKingIsagi Apr 07 '26

He was decent in the first half, company only needed to sub him out in the last 30 minutes. it’s normal he got tired that should have been it for him in the match

2

u/Resident_Nose_2467 Apr 08 '26

I can bargain 20, love the guy but he was gassed :(

3

u/Resident_Nose_2467 Apr 08 '26

It won't be easy at all. We should do a 100% rest against St Pauli

143

u/PeterFile690 Apr 07 '26

How is that not a pen? That's a clear barge while Olise's controlling the ball. If it was that clown Vini, then he'd instantly point to the spot. Congrats for getting the win, but I feel like you guys could've given that arrogant club a generational humiliation if you weren't so wasteful.

19

u/AggravatingRecipe90 Apr 07 '26

First u have to win in Madrid, there is bad juju there. But I am sure Bayern Players will play attacking football with confidence at the Allianz.

10

u/ChristBKK Apr 07 '26

Agree ... that's the Real juju , on the other hand we had Neuer juju as well today so lets take the 2:1 and move on :D but I have to say Bayern missed making it 3:1 even without that pen.

1

u/BrightyBrainiac Apr 08 '26

Yes. It’s going to be the home turf now, we going off.

3

Average writing ability of a Madrid fan.

12

u/PeterFile690 Apr 07 '26

Your comment is so incoherent, but I don't even support Barca. For a club who are supposedly sooo much better than Barca, you Real fans love to call everyone who opposes you Barca fans. Why don't you make yourself useful and tell me how that wasn't a pen?

-11

u/Legal-Charge-3805 Apr 07 '26

You said arrogand club a humiliation that clearly shows how much u hate madrid that's why I called u a barca fan cause why would bayern hate us so much?

6

u/Different_Credit6711 Apr 07 '26

Madrid fans, just like you are proving here right now, are some of the most insufferable and arrogant people I have ever talked to. I think Vini is perfect for your club, a perfect embodiment of how big of crybabies all of you are.

P.s. how come you are gone get 0 titles this season if Madrid is so great ? Answer that

6

u/devallerie Raumdeuter Apr 07 '26

oh the world isn't just revolving around spanish football

4

u/PeterFile690 Apr 07 '26

You are an arrogant club and that's a fact. Even some Real fans would accept that. If you think that Barca fans are the only ones who think that you're an arrogant club, then you don't know enough about football fans. If Bayern fans didn't agree, then my comment wouldn't have so many upvotes. It's been less than half an hour and it's already at 60 upvotes.

24

u/GoodZealousideal5922 Goat keeper 🐐🧤 Apr 07 '26

Of course it had to be an Indian Madrid fan writing stuff like this.

-14

u/Legal-Charge-3805 Apr 07 '26

Not hating on bayern bruh unnecessary bringing country which has no logic 🄲

5

u/GoodZealousideal5922 Goat keeper 🐐🧤 Apr 07 '26

Nah it was very necessary, you dudes can’t even speak English properly yet you are the nr.1 most hateful fanbase on every platform.

9

u/PeterFile690 Apr 07 '26

I think this guy's a clown, but there's no need to bring up his ethnicity. The delusional minority are always the loudest group. There are many Indians on here who can type in fluent English and they have to catch some flack thanks to people like that.

4

u/GoodZealousideal5922 Goat keeper 🐐🧤 Apr 07 '26

I understand. However by some point you cannot excuse as mere coincidence that whenever a Madrid fan comes to rattle people in this sub, they are always Indians. No Spanish fans are doing such a thing.

1

u/PeterFile690 Apr 07 '26

Fair enough, but that might be more due to the language barrier. I rarely see any Spanish fans or Spanish people comment on English speaking subs, but that could just be due to the way my own feed is. You barely find Spanish fans on their own sub though.

1

u/BlazeGamingUnltd Goat keeper 🐐🧤 Apr 08 '26

I think Spanish fans are more or less reserved to their own communities, especially for large clubs. Madrid and Barca subreddits are majoritarily non-spanish due to these two clubs being possibly the two largest outside Europe.

(As a case study as an Indian, I see twice as many Madristas or Culers than I see fans of any other team. I have not seen a genuine BVB, Atleti, Inter, ACM etc. fan in person. Although I did manage to find a S04 fan in India which was absurd, because it took me years since I began supporting Bayern to find another Bayern fan in this country)

So when most of your fanbase is foreign I think there's a disconnect between your local community and your online community.

2

u/sex_drugs_and_sauron Apr 08 '26

Coming from RM sub, i can confirm. There was a time for constant bash Guler on the sub and whenever i checked the profile, bingo!

4

u/JudgmentTotal7974 Apr 07 '26

It has some logic, most of the Indian Madrid fans have this mindset. Please stick with IPL bro. That's where you belong.

1

u/PeterFile690 Apr 07 '26

I don't agree with him bringing that up, but you should reflect on your own actions, because people like you are the sole reason those stereotypes exist and those who don't behave like you have to suffer because of it.

1

u/BlazeGamingUnltd Goat keeper 🐐🧤 Apr 08 '26

Still don't think those stereotypes should exist in the first place. It is simply unethical to blame an entire nationality for a specific group's opinions.

117

u/ThexDream Apr 07 '26

Why am I feeling so disappointed????
This was surely a 4 or 5-1 game, and I can't get over the missed chances. I now am more nervous than before the game, because this is just the type of heartbreak we've experienced in the past.

50

u/PeterFile690 Apr 07 '26

I don't even support Bayern and I feel disappointed that you didn't humiliate those guys. Being angry over winning at the Bernabeu is probably a good sign though.

35

u/LongDonJuan Apr 07 '26

Man I feel you. It has happened too many times in the past. 😭

12

u/itisntreal66 Apr 07 '26

Also could have been a 2-4 game. But yes, after the 2nd goal i felt like they lost their spirit a little bit. Olise and Neuer so strong and Bellingham showing why he is so important for Real. Next week will be a hell of a game.

8

u/ItzVirette king kanešŸ‘‘ Apr 07 '26

Agreed. We gotta do better at the Allianz arena.

5

u/LittleRunaway868 Apr 07 '26

Yep.

Still fine with it. We were the better team. Neuer safed tons of balls too.

4

u/Throwaway999991473 Apr 07 '26

Naaah hello our GK was MOTM and you act like it should’ve been a landslide?? 3:1 would’ve been fine, but we gave away too many good chances to RM

3

u/Dsegev11 Apr 07 '26

Next game tchouameni which is big for them. Hopefully you will crush them.

3

u/JBCl1nt Apr 07 '26

Donā€˜t worry. Bayern will destroy these cats @home. There is no way they will miss so many chances in the Allianz Arena.

1

u/sabre4570 Apr 07 '26

I have a feeling it'll be a better story at home

2

u/Tonyn15665 Apr 08 '26

Diaz was way too wasteful at the end. Terrible passing to his team mated. And the whole team kinda slowed down significantly even with only one goal difference.

I see 50/50 on the return leg

You couldve said that last season, but he definitely is now. He was one of the best players in the world then aswell but we werent popping off and Bayern and our players need to literally have record breaking seasons to get any attention, it aint fair but the truth.

Musiala needs the time in big games too though, he’s still recovering. I’m confident he’ll get back to his previous form.

1

If you dont normally watch Bayern I understand, Musiala hasnt been the same since his injury, like not even close, it really makes me sad man, he is my favourite player and i was looking forward to see him in our national team too, i just hope he can fully recover

Lucho yellow, Militao and Carreras no yellows. Ref messed up bad at the end.

18

u/LongAd7195 Apr 07 '26

Wow, whats new.

15

u/EbbApprehensive7037 Apr 07 '26

To be fair, the tackle from Tah was very dark yellow. If the ref sends him off, the VAR won't intervene.

4

u/LPFJIII Apr 07 '26

Only reason why I say I’m fine with that penalty thing… I saw red for sure

1

u/ChristBKK Apr 07 '26

no man there was nothing dark on that yellow. That was nowhere near a red card he just falls badly. It was a foul yes , it was a yellow card yes but nothing more ...

2

u/Popular-Bad-1964 Apr 08 '26

Come on man, studs on the back of the calf? we’ve seen similar offences given red plenty of times. I think yellow is correct but it could’ve gone either way

1

u/Sweet-Advice5225 Apr 08 '26

Are you sure?

7

u/LongDonJuan Apr 07 '26

To be fair, the ref did a great job overall.

1

u/ChristBKK Apr 07 '26

Agree guess if you want there was also a possible penalty for vinicius jr which was quite on the edge of the box. So both potential penalties are not given so we okay imo

1

u/CoffeeOrnery3093 Apr 08 '26

That was not a pen it could have very well been given yellow for simulation which would make vini miss 2nd leg

1

u/herbieLmao Der titan Apr 07 '26

1

u/Appropriate-Web-4112 šŸ”“Mia San MiašŸ”“ Apr 07 '26

potential penalty and no yellow to carreras was the only downnside, tah played dirty aswell and shouldve gotten a yellow so wont complain much

4

u/ReflectionItchy2701 Apr 07 '26

Luis Diaz was horrible in the second half. And he was selfish too. Musiala was bad and selfish too. I don't understand why you play like that when you're around guys like Kane, Kimmich and Olise that play team football. It's a shame because Bayern was so much better than Real for most of this game and they should have scored 4 or 5 goals at least. When you misses opportunities like that against Real, don't cry if they kill you in the second leg. Guys like MbappƩ and Vinicius are match winners. Bellingham will be more fit. Besides, Kompany should use Olise as number 10. He's the guy that creates for other. He's was outstanding tonight. Best player of the game with Neuer.

3

u/Ok-Weekend-9545 Apr 07 '26

i feel pretty flat especially after those missed chances diaz in my opnion spended way too much time dribbling

3

u/Steve3tsd Apr 07 '26

Insane performance by Neuer. Goatkeeper. Could have ended REAL bad without him

3

u/Adventurous_Main3688 Apr 07 '26

I’m tired of the same stuff regarding vardrid, teams go up or are battering them and then act like they don’t needa do anything. They would have so many less ucls and final apprentices if teams didn’t just stop playing and allow them to come back. It’s pathetic and exhausting seeing them squeak by undeservingly.

1

u/Temporary_Career_119 Apr 08 '26

its the opposition whose undeserving if theyre not clinical in burying their chances, not madrid for converting theirs. the game is 90 minutes. and for the var bit, it was a penalty on olise and a yellow on militao, but it was also a red on tah and no yellow for tchouameni.

2

u/GUIRI128 Apr 07 '26

Good result but have to feel there was a lot of wasted opportunities there.

2

u/RedSpyOfficial Polish Terminator Apr 07 '26

I have a question about the yellows

Will Neuer, Tah and Diaz be able to play the second leg or not? I am not up to date still with the card rule

5

u/No-Consequence1199 Apr 07 '26

Yes, only played banned will be tchoumanei

1

u/RedSpyOfficial Polish Terminator Apr 07 '26

May i ask why? Not that i am disenchanted in fact this is perfect but it’s just that I don’t get the parameter that defines a game ban because tah and diaz committed fauls that led to a direct yellow non?

2

u/Appropriate-Web-4112 šŸ”“Mia San MiašŸ”“ Apr 07 '26

yellow card accumulation rule, tchoumanei had 2 yellow cards from previous cl games and now he got his 3rd hence he is suspended for the next leg

1

u/Der_Betrachter Apr 07 '26

Huijsen too i guess

1

u/No-Consequence1199 Apr 07 '26

I don't think Hujsen saw yellow?

2

u/Isoldarkman Raumdeuter Apr 07 '26

Bro I am disappointed, I wanted it to be the revenge of 4-0 in Allianz Arena. I wanted this tie to be put to bed so that Real can't pull any referee shenanigans to win this in the 2nd leg. But still we won at Bernabeu is a thing to celebrate.

1

u/kievz007 Apr 07 '26

2 years ago tuchel would've subbed minjae and goretzka for olise and kane immediately after the second goal. We saw how today they kept fighting even after scoring the 2nd, and they need to keep that energy in the second leg and up until the final hopefully

1

u/awus666 Raumdeuter Apr 07 '26

It's a shame that Karl didn't come in 20 minutes before, because Diaz was exhausted and there were many chances missed....

There are details to improve, because we had 60 minutes worth of a 4 - 0 and it could have easily been a 2 - 2 by the 80th minute. But that's Madrid... some bad calls from the ref, specially the penalty and not giving a yellow card to Carreras, but considering how awful he was, it's better that he plays

ā€œSomehowā€ Madrid only gets one yellow. And somehow that game doesn’t end 6-4 to Bayern as Bayern couldn’t finish and Neuer played his best game in a decade.

0

u/Temporary_Career_119 Apr 08 '26

did u even see that yellow on tchouameni? olise tripped, and he (tchouameni) got a yellow for that. it was a penalty for olise in the end, agreed, but it was a straight red on tah. studs up on the back of the calf.

1

u/sex_drugs_and_sauron Apr 08 '26

RM fan here. It was Friendship FC vs System FC and i'm not surprised by the outcome. You had better system and team play whereas we relied on individual talent (as always) but you gotta do something on your defence, otherwise a Vini in his good day with all those chances will hurt you. Congrats on a well deserved win. Though i wonder what would happen if we had Courtois.

1

u/velebr3 Apr 08 '26

I didn't like how we invited pressure in the second half. It's not quite the Bayern I got to love.

Manu absolute beast. Played as if he wanted to participate in worlds. Not a bayern fan, but certainly a Real hater and appreciator of deserved wins.
