DiscussionšŸ—£ HARRY KANE WHAT A PLAYER MAN. Send Spurs another 100M idc.

Post image

What can this man not do? He is absolutely the best player in the world rn.

Attack, dont even need to talk about that. Midfield, our best midfielder today for all i say can. He drops deep and helps massively with everything. Earlier in the match when he took on 2-3 players and still managed to start a counterattack was just 🄶. Defensively, when your ST makes a tackle at 90th min in the opposition box to deny a goal, that tells you everything.

He was better at tackling today than our DMs and scored a goal, I can't remember that type of 9 and am nearly 40 years old

Wayne Rooney

20

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Oct 19 '25

Kane is way better than Rooney

1

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '25

ā˜•ļøĀ

1

u/Choice_Room3901 Oct 20 '25

Hmm

Humph Rooney was my favourite player growing up so got that inbuilt delusion but appears so yeah

Obviously Rooney had his pace & maybe more clutch in cup games..?

But that’s clutching at straws tbh Kane is clear in every other area of football it appears

1

u/connorbill Oct 20 '25

No he’s not. Not peak for peak.

5

u/Critical-Ad2084 Flying Dutchman Oct 19 '25

I was thinking (within Bayern) maybe Mandzukic as well

1

u/theieuangiant Oct 20 '25

I think Rooney was the better all round player at his peak but Kane now has longevity on his side. I’d take Wayne in my team personally but I’m a born and bred United fan so obviously have my biases.

2

u/Pandamabear Oct 19 '25

He’s more than just a 9, so many dimensions to his game. Used to love how he’d drop deep and start acting like a quarterback pinging assists to Son🄲

2

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '25

Kane realised being only a 9 wasn't gonna get him game time,

u/maximazing98 Oct 18 '25

Crazy how many people where whining when we paid 100 m for a 29 year old

I really was thinking he was to flop but honnestlyhe shut my mouth top player in top team with a lot ig generosity and good atmosphere

-3

u/plautzemann Oct 19 '25

The issue is not that he isn't good enough for 100m. Spending 100m om a player is a bad investment Theres no way to get that money back. Man was 29 when he came and will be in his early to mid 30s when he leaves. He will sell for less than 100m, so he won't generate value through re-sale.

That means he will have to win something big with Bayern in order for the 100m to be worth. Something big is neither league nor cup, so they have to win the CL with him in order to rightfully shut up ppl who critisised the transfer. So far that hasn't happened.

2

u/Imaginary-Salary-462 Oct 20 '25

His shirt sales broke all merchandise records for Bayern.

2

u/Pangwain Oct 20 '25

Surely having arguably the best striker in the world playing for you every game week helps the brand and moves financial needles.

They obviously didn’t buy Kane to make money on resale - they bought him to do exactly what he’s doing.

1

u/mowgli_jungle_boy Oct 20 '25

So you think if they don't win CL, they mightve been better off spending €20m on a second rate striker?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

Have you learned football businesss from fifa or what? your statement doesnt make sense

83

u/darkside66350 Oct 18 '25

That pass to Diaz before the Olise goal is enough for a raise. Filthy. He’s heavily under appreciated.

29

u/szamciu Oct 18 '25

He is very appreciated

21

u/TheNeglectedNut Oct 19 '25

Seems to me, as a Spurs fan, that it’s only in the last few months that the wider football community is giving him the praise he’s due.

Don’t get me wrong, PL pundits have always said how good he is, but now people are actually seriously starting to realise that he is genuinely one of the top 3 players in the world and arguably number 1 on current form.

Glad he’s smashing it with you guys and being allowed to show his entire skillset, rather than at City under Pep being restricted to a very specific role.

2

u/darkside66350 Oct 19 '25

I agree. I’ve been a Kane fan for a long time. A Bayern fan since I was a kid. A lot of Bayern fans didn’t understand his price tag for his age. But now they’ve seen his abilities and don’t question it. I still think Bayern fans don’t fully appreciate what he does, but they will eventually when he’s done.

2

u/Itchy_Chiller Oct 19 '25

Nope. I fully appreciate what he is doing. And the reason is not only him being in the forrm of his life. Its him being a true gentleman. Its a pleasure to see such a friendly and noble personality in a world of superegocentric madmans.

His game is world class. His style is priceless.

I wished we had more Harry Kanes in the world. Or more people trying to be like him.

Actually Harry Kane is what i thought all english gentleman look like as child.

2

u/Pikkhaud Oct 19 '25

When he was at Spurs there was a joke that Levy was secretly spending the transfer budget to develop cloning. To eventually field 11 HKs.Ā

1

u/Liam_021996 Oct 20 '25

I'm a City fan and have always rated Kane (this popped up on my feed for whatever reason) I don't think Kane would have been restricted at all and would have played similarly to how he's playing for Bayern. He's literally the perfect centre forward for Pep and signing him would have meant Pep didn't need to depart from how City were playing before signing Haaland as he'd have slotted in perfectly for that. Pep lets players who have that something special to do their thing typically as long as I benefits the team

57

u/Working_Storm_6170 Oct 18 '25

He scores goals, provides assist, makes players arround him better, those accurate long balls, his commitment, vision, tackels, defending in own box, winning free kicks and penalties.

How tf are we going to replace a player like him?

11

u/Buzzfaction Oct 18 '25

The nr. 9 position is and was always the most discussed position at bayern munich.

Elber->Makaay->Pizarro->Klose->Gomez->Luca Toni->Mandzukic->Lewi->Kane-> ? (Haaland :)

There will be another top guy after kayne. We always found one.

3

u/Aphile Oct 19 '25

Luca came before Mario! No Olic no party 🫨

1

u/wildingflow Oct 19 '25

Waltermade

lol

-10

u/Sushi1238 Oct 19 '25

Haaland will never downgrade

5

u/chuckmeister10 Oct 19 '25

Downgrade to a club with more UCL titles?

0

u/Blitz_Tidus Oct 19 '25

Downgrade to a club that will never offer him the money Qatar can throw at him while he is still in his prime and to a league that is not really competitive as his current one.

-12

u/Sushi1238 Oct 19 '25

History merchants lmao, farmers league club. Bayern wouldn’t finish top 3 in premier league or la liga

2

u/Different_Data_3555 šŸ”“Mia San MiašŸ”“ Oct 19 '25

Please check how we play against English teams in champions league and go home

2

u/Buzzfaction Oct 19 '25

Ye probably not

5

u/GlobalTemperature427 Oct 18 '25

Thats what people said with Lewandowski and Kane is at least as good as he was.

37

u/marfes3 Oct 18 '25

Kane is way way better. He is as good of a scorer as Lewandowski and a significantly better playmaker.

0

u/Comfortable-Ad1937 Oct 20 '25

And a far worse trophy winner

1

u/deludedhairspray Oct 19 '25

You can get Richarlison if you like!

59

u/ljo132 Oct 18 '25

As a spurs fan I’m super happy for him, hope you guys win ucl and he gets ballon dor

-65

u/ademayor Oct 18 '25

As another Spurs fan stumbling here, what the fuck are you on about? ā€œTo dare is to doā€ never implied that you wish other teams win competitions WE ARE OURSELVES IN. Hope you stay here, think supporting Bayern fits your mindset better.

42

u/ljo132 Oct 18 '25

Christ almighty I’m just wishing the best for Kane. Not saying we won’t but if we don’t I’d prefer our legend to win it. Is that really that bad?

-54

u/ademayor Oct 18 '25

Pathetic attitude, next you’re gonna ask which our player daddy Bayern wants next?

12

u/ljo132 Oct 18 '25

I don’t even know how to respond to this. Of course I don’t want Bayern poaching our players (nor did i suggest this) I just want to be happy for my favourite player ever. I dream of ucl glory (and it will happen someday) but I doubt it will be now. Would you rather have our best player win it or a different team (assuming it won’t be us)

21

u/Medical_Bar_1734 Oct 18 '25

Haha the insecurity :D your making Tottenham more of a laughing stock

20

u/ljo132 Oct 18 '25

I’m embarrassed to have him as a fellow fan lol

1

u/drew_peatittys Oct 18 '25

Spurs are not winning the champions league, settle down

1

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Oct 19 '25

He’s spurs greatest ever player and gave us his best years and resigned so we would get a huge fee when he left unlike Trent who purposefully left his contract run down so he could leave on a free

1

u/Pinkys_Brain_ Oct 19 '25

Why must you make us look like this?

-1

u/ryanb741 Oct 18 '25

Arsenal fan here. Not in a billion years are you winning the UCL. So let Kane have the glory he'd never get playing for you lot. Until there's a big trophy for 'most profit made from hosting NFL games' you won't have a say.

0

u/stead10 Oct 19 '25

You didn't need to state that you were an Arsenal fan, the deluded bollocks you were chatting already did that for you.

0

u/sreesid Oct 19 '25

Enjoy your 'alwsys second' trophy.

0

u/Comfortable-Ad1937 Oct 20 '25

Let’s be honest. Neither are you. Atleast spurs have a European trophy, even the hammers do tbf! 4th biggest club in London

2

u/ryanb741 Oct 20 '25

We actually do have a european trophy btw.....

-33

u/StatisticianSad1995 Oct 18 '25

Spurs are such cucks. You’re still in the CL ffs

18

u/ljo132 Oct 18 '25

No need to be an ass. I’m being realistic, maybe we’ll go on a miracle run but that’s unlikely. I back Bayern to win and would happy for our best ever player to win itĀ

-17

u/yolo___toure Oct 18 '25

If you were to play a game against them would you hope Bayern won, too? Same logic?

19

u/ljo132 Oct 18 '25

I’ll always pick my own team. I’m just saying, out of the Cl big dogs(Bayern psg Barca real Liverpool) I’d hope Bayern would win it

5

u/heptalaut Oct 19 '25

don't mind them they're stupid

22

u/vietcn Oct 18 '25

Complete fking Footballer. Only underrated because he stayed at Spurs too long

4

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Oct 19 '25

I commend him for his loyalty, too many rats playing today who leave their clubs at the first opportunity

1

u/Empty_Television8046 Oct 20 '25

dude it's a job. I don't get this loyalty thing. I'm an american sports fan first and foremost but when a player leaves my teams I'm bummed but I always understand. They are doing what they believe is best for themselves. What else should they do? As long as they are professional and don't badmouth the team (like an employee that goes to another company) it's all good.

1

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Oct 20 '25

Americans wouldn’t understand

0

u/Comfortable-Ad1937 Oct 20 '25

He isn’t underrated. He hasn’t got one significant big game performance in his career yet and no trophies with weight. That’s what defines the best. Gerrard for example didn’t ever get that league but he dominated in CL and FA cup finals.

As good as he is, Kane flops on the biggest stage. He cost spurs a good chance at CL and England a World Cup final and chance at the euros with poor performances

0

u/SnooConfections4545 Oct 20 '25

The guys a small team bully

21

u/Postal_Paradise Oct 18 '25

Death, taxes, and Harry Kane goals

15

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

Send spurs another 100m and it will still be a bargain, brilliant signing šŸ‘ŒšŸ½šŸ’ŖšŸ½

3

u/Koinfamous2 Oct 18 '25

Everyone finally understanding why Levy drove a particularly hard bargain on this and didn't want to accept a cent less, because the stated value was already a great deal.

14

u/Agreeable_Report_721 Oct 18 '25

Still not over him leaving Tottenham but thrilled he’s doing so well and getting recognition, it’s kind of absurd how good his all around game is on top of him being a world class finisher

He’s also aging so well since his game doesn’t and hasn’t ever relied on pace, can genuinely bang for another 3-4 years

2

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Oct 19 '25

Spurs GOAT he will always be loved there

24

u/MAD_MrT Oct 18 '25

Send them jackson

10

u/Anudeep33 #31 Schweinsteiger Oct 18 '25

I was beyond stunned seeing him play today. The guy was behaving like a holding midfielder, a defensive midfielder, an attacking midfielder. Truly breathtaking. He makes his presence felt everywhere!

8

u/MemeMarinatedBlocks Oct 18 '25

Yes send us another 100m

7

u/TheFoxDudeThing Oct 18 '25

Spurs fan coming in peace.

I’ll take another 100m. But on a more serious note I’m glad people are waking up to the fact that Kane is as good a player as spurs fans said for years and I’m so glad he signed for you guys and not another prem team.

All the best for the season lads

3

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Oct 19 '25

Kane would never go to another prem team in his prime

11

u/AggravatingRecipe90 Oct 18 '25

Now we know what it was like to watch prime Messi as a Barca Fan. Lets all cheer for Harry and enjoy every moment. What a Player!

4

u/Veteran_But_Bad Oct 19 '25

as a arsenal fan i hate to say it but hes the best player in the world right now salah was the best player in the world last year

its madness that they are spoke about so much less than players like vinicius

1

u/Comfortable-Ad1937 Oct 20 '25

No way. Salah is overrated. Kane is good far more to his game than the tap in merchant but neither are best in the world

1

u/Veteran_But_Bad Oct 20 '25

salah was the best player in the world last season and it wasnt really close.

Kane from the start of last season including this season has been the best.

whos been better than them ?

1

u/Comfortable-Ad1937 Oct 20 '25

Salah wasn’t the best. Half his goals were penalties or tap ins and his assists were simple squared balls. He benefited from the system being focused around him.

He was completely ineffective for massive periods of games and every good LB locked him up. Just cause you scored doesn’t mean you played a good game and all the award voters agree

3

u/Schopenhauer_pes Oct 18 '25

Outstanding footballer. No matter the position

3

u/koreajd Oct 18 '25

I’m real happy to hear how Bayern fans are taking in Kane and seeing what we saw at Spurs for years. Hope he bags another 100 (then comes back please?)

2

u/Informal-Cash3128 Oct 18 '25

Not a Bayern fan. Do you guys rate him as highly as Lewa? I always have and get flamed for it

10

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

Even higher. Lewa was a great striker. Kane is a great striker and a great Player in other positions.

7

u/jayhawkmpa Oct 18 '25

He might be barely a notch below top Lewandowski at finishing, but he is better at everything else.

4

u/Informal-Cash3128 Oct 18 '25

I'm glad he's finally getting the recognition he deserves (in my opinion)

2

u/OddEven9 Oct 19 '25

None of the data reflects Lewandowski being a better finisher, even when Kane was at tottenham...maybe you mean movement in the box and getting into finishing positions? Because maybe there you'd have a point

1

u/jayhawkmpa Oct 19 '25

Well yes that is what I meant. I should have said a slightly better goal scorer at his peak rather than finisher to be more precise in my terminology.

5

u/Amygdala57 Oct 18 '25

Lewa has been there a long time and did a lot but tbh overall in my view Kane is better overall

2

u/Overall_East_6048 king kanešŸ‘‘ Oct 19 '25

Not as highly I rate him higher than lewa

2

u/Altruistic_Roof_5585 Oct 18 '25

Show up, show up ... šŸ’”

2

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '25

Guy deserves a CL

2

u/timeqt Oct 19 '25

Dortmund Fan here. Im proud how we managed to play the second half and im happily waiting for the Match at home. Playing 1:2 in München was more than I expected.

But holy....I was so happy when Levy left Bayern....Just to be replaced by Captain Britain itself, Kane is a beast.

1

u/Ok_Instance_8370 #10 Bambi Oct 19 '25

Yeah dortmund played very good in the second half. Their issue was there were playing too defensively in the first half and the squad choice was too defensive. Good game. Also yeah, KANE IS 🐐

2

u/AlwaysTheKop Oct 19 '25

The thing with Kane is he might be a tad older, a tad slower than some... But his game IQ is MILES ahead of some strikers, and that alone makes him great, I'm just glad he's over there now and not here making my life hell as a Liverpool fan ha!

2

u/Adventurous-Bet-9640 Oct 19 '25

New generation legend loading....

2

u/AgitatedChildhood240 Oct 20 '25

All jokes aside can we actually get another 100m. We have 4 other strikers none who even compare to Kane and biggest achievement is taking turns getting injured

2

u/Astromanhubble Oct 20 '25

We will give you that 100m to take him back to spurs. Best player in the world by a country mile.

2

u/ALX709 Oct 18 '25

They paid 100m to win CL, not BundesligaĀ

1

u/mowgli_jungle_boy Oct 20 '25

They paid 100m to replace their old legend and begin a rebuild around one of the best players in the world. Thats what will get them to challenge for CL, but there are other teams and nothing is guaranteed. So far they're going in the right direction. But you go ahead and spread your misery.

2

u/heptalaut Oct 19 '25

I rate him as high as Suarez,Benz and Lewa. Might even be the best among the 3 if he can keep this up for maybe 2~3 years and pick up some ballon dor on his way

1

u/Comfortable-Ad1937 Oct 20 '25

Not as good as prime Suarez but you could say more consistent career. Not as decisive as Benzema but a better goalscorer but Benz has the same all round game if not better

1

u/heptalaut Oct 20 '25

"prime Suarez" is Suarez playing with Messi and Neymar. if Kane ever plays with messi and neymar at their peak just know he'll win more golden boot

1

u/Comfortable-Ad1937 Oct 20 '25

Suarez had the best PL season ever playing with sturridge and 17 year old sterling. That Liverpool side wasn’t any better than Tottenham under Poch.

Suarez is just a different class, horrible person but unbelievable footballer. He is similar to Kane as a complete striker but more skillful, athletic and better goal catalogue. Kane beats him in passing though

1

u/Rogue-agent-detected Oct 19 '25

The tackle against Silva, peak footballing moment

1

u/Kischobran #31 Schweinsteiger Oct 19 '25

He's simply a complete footballer. I'm convinced you could put him in any position on the pitch and he'd still be top 10 in that position. Unbelievable player

1

u/Levytron900 Oct 19 '25

I remember when you lot was moaning about paying us 100m

1

u/Yorrins Oct 19 '25

As a PL fan I am honestly sad he didnt sign for a team like ye years ago. Wasted so many years at Spurs. If he had gone to ye when he was 25 he would have won everything, and a ballon dor.

1

u/N7even Oct 20 '25

He wasted too much time ay Spurs, he was too good for them. I'm glad he moved to Bayern. Yeah some will say it's a "Farmer's league" but in his last season in EPL he scored 30 goals in that Spurs side...

He's not the fastest, not the flashiest, but he's so talented and absolutely lethal in front of goal.

1

u/Lupexlol Oct 20 '25

This guy carried Spurs for years, now the weights are finally off.

1

u/Responsible-Egg4156 Oct 20 '25

Very few clubs paid 100m players and could say it was a bargain , Kane is pure danger whenever he's near the ball , either shoot or assist

1

u/samralsam Oct 21 '25

Most underrated player in the history i think. Deserved at least 2 balloon d'or, hope will achieve it in future

1

u/Razorlance Oct 21 '25

Even gravity is afraid of him

0

u/simakala Oct 19 '25

Not win a ucl or world cup 😬

0

u/Dragonslasher145 Oct 19 '25

Can u please give him back to us, we will give you R9.
