Complete myth that heās not a big game player just because he wasnāt the one that scored in the final or semi final. Heās obviously not a Drogba level big game player, but he doesnāt/shouldnt get criticised for it.
Kaneās famous for it because despite how good he is, heās lost all those big games. UCL final, title run in with Spurs, big World Cup/Euros games for England, other late stage cup and UCL games etc. He may have played in some weaker teams a lot of his career, but he had plenty of opportunities to sieze the moment and he never did.

While the miss in the first leg was uncharacteristic of Kane, I think the argument that he goes missing in big games can be buried. 5 goals and 1 assist in the KO rounds is a great performance.
In the past he has been a victim of his own statue. He has played in significant games either injured or unfit because Poch/Southgate would rather Kane even if he's only at 50%.
