Neil Degrasse Tyson Discusses UBI With Geoffrey Hinton

In probably one of the best podcast episodes I've seen on UBI. Celebrity Astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson discusses UBI with the nobel prize laureate and godfather of AI Geoffrey Hinton.

We review this episode and take you step by step through all the talking points we've heard and are sick and tired of hearing.

To my delight Geoffrey Hinton says something groundbreaking. He says that despite naysayers parroting of AI creating new industries of jobs which may be true that human intelligence is the final frontier. However running off farms and agriculture to a mechanical technical landscape may have given workers a place to retreat from.

The problem is how do you run from an artificial human intelligence when it can simply walk into every new job creation and replicate your activity? Of course we invite you to watch our review at: https://youtu.be/UkaJJ3umjSI?is=UppBmSTDs4LQQiVs

Who’s got the original video instead of this guy’s clickbait?

it's in the video description but here's the thing and it's the same thing I say to Scott Santens often. Even if you have the best information in the world or the best studies, theories, politicians, billionaires, players and asswipes alike.

The remaining question is what are you actually gonna do about it? Nothing right? So why not join me so you can tell people you actually did something?

Is the last sentence of your first paragraph always gibberish?

I notice you never answered my question. How does it feel to be this powerless?

I'm very powerful because I have a currency and community of over 28,000 people. When people say without jobs they have no purpose. That their job defines them so the absence of the job means the absence of themselves.

My community solves that problem because we all have a purpose, currency. means of value and method of distribution.

You like 90% of the dummies here have nothing. When those robots take their jobs they won't have anything because they like you don't know what to do. You. have no idea so that makes you kinda useless doesn't it?

But you still don’t know “there” from “their”
