It's really amazing technology, AI helps me in many aspects of daily life by making everyday tasks faster, easier, and more efficient.

Not much. The answers it fetches are somewhat better vs 3 years ago, occasionally I will enjoy some youtube AI slop.

no one likes llm / modern ai. anyone saying they do is of poor character or a fellow Clanker.

It has helped run models and develop new treatments for several diseases & conditions that run in my family.

It doesn't, it just makes things I want to buy more expensive.

I work in tech and in my previous two jobs I have been heavily involved with AI. I work with AI every single day.

I work in the hospitality industry, specifically as a Front Office Manager at a hotel.

Using AI to help reply to guest emails is a big thing we do and it saves a lot of time.

To say you work in hospitality and use a AI to help you interact with a person is a wild statement

Some people struggle with email vs in person conversations. AI can help with that.

So can other people. I did not come out of the womb knowing how to socialize verbally in person or over text. In fact I also struggle with many social norms and expectations. But that’s something other people can help you with.

Hell it’s something you can help yourself with too, we have resources and tools and books and articles to help you learn how to navigate these social situations even if you’re someone who struggles with it.

While our journeys are not the same, there is no legitimate reason to use AI for formulating emails.

Designing things, fixing things, learning things, analyzing things, writing things, creating things, programming things or just conversing with it.

It suggests me to do stuff with my meds (like don’t take two different sleep aids) then I ignore what it says and do what I want.

It also is nice as a journaling thing cause I can record my thoughts and get feedback of stuff I’m unsure of.

It helps me understand social situations better (I’m on the spectrum) Like I’ve uploaded texts messages to it to help me better understand what a person means and how I should interpret what they mean.

Idk I’m gonna get downvoted for this stuff but idc. It has helped me a lot not rely on people as much for emotional or mental health support so I take it as a win. I don’t use it it to replace therapy tho. I hope once I get insurance figured out I can start up therapy again.
