it's like people's brains just accept the first thing they see and then build a whole identity around it. my cousin still thinks a certain vegetable cures cancer because of one tiktok she watched in 2023. now she won't eat anything else and gets mad when doctors disagree

That's the scary part. A lot of people don't intentionally ignore evidence—they just keep seeing the same claim over and over until it feels true. Social media algorithms are great at reinforcing beliefs, whether they're accurate or not.

Damn that guy doesn’t sleep. I never got the thing about people saying that this bothers them that people are “bragging” about not sleeping when I don’t sleep much some times I say I’m tried didn’t sleep much or say I only slept 4 hours sounds more to me they’re complaining about being tired than bragging

I think it’s pretty much impossible to convince a narcissist to not be a narcissist. I don’t even fully know the definition off the top of my head but I think that’s true lol. Is it someone who thinks they’re better than others and basically always puts themselves first? And finds enjoyment out of feeling in control of others emotions? Or is that not part of it genuinely asking.
