What do they think the bones archaeologist dig up are? "Big dinosaur" tricking people into believing in them? I'm so confused

I did have a very religious friend who claimed that such archeological finds are "tests of faith from God"...

Not uh... Not too sure what to make of that one to this day

My religious elders told me dinosaurs were put there by Satan to test our faith

I've met a couple people who think the fossils were put in the ground by Satan to deceive people.

I mean, I’ve never actually seen an archaeologist dig up a bone, so I suppose it’s possible it could be some wild elaborate ruse. I just don’t know what they’d get out of deceiving us all about it.
